So an atheist is hiking one day , admiring all of mother nature's beauty. When suddenly a giant grizzly bear comes charging after him , so he starts to run and suddenly trips . Right as the beast is upon him getting ready to pounce down on him he yells "God help me!!!". Instantly everything freezes just as the bear was about to tear into him. He hears a voice say "Oh, so now you want to believe in me??" He replies "well if your really God , how bout you make the bear a Christian? If you do i will forever be a believer!" At that moment everything unfreezes and the Bear stops cold and looks at the guy for a second. The guy sits their in disbelief and says "lord from this day on---". Then the bear starts speaking!! "Father in heaven, thank you for this meal for which I'm about to receive".

Fact of life for many in that area. I feel awful for the families involved. I sure wouldn't want to be the judge on this one. As a parent the loss is more personal punishment then the courts could ever decide.

Agreed, been lucky to avoid the major downside until now. My heart goes out to the people whove been forced to stay home and not work, lose buiseness and probably homes soon as well. Meanwhile politicians have all enjoyed their paid holidays enjoying life while ruining the lives of others. Makes me sick.

Glad your pop is ok. I honestly dont have a problem with them asking folks to social distance and wear a mask. But making people shut their companies down and quite possibly lose their buisiness and their homes is phucked.

Hey Tex, since im "the guy that wishes he was a guide" if you can make it out for the January archery hunt i will personally take you to my honey holes where you can get a chance at a nice coues. Plenty of P&Y quality bucks to be had. And i expect NOTHING in return. Just a dude helpung another dude out To the rest of the forum, the he wishes he was a guide comment is what i had in the forefront of my mind when i called him priveleged, yes i acted petty about it (i was self medicating in my defense). But yeah the only way i can get paid to do what i love is to guide, maybe 2 to 3 hunts a year tops would be enough to scratch the itch. I've done it enough for free but as the sole provider for a family of seven i cant be out every year for a week or more on multiple trips and not bring in some income, especially while im leaving her home with all the kids. I offered to help plenty here, some took me up on it and some havent but volunteering doesnt help pay the bills. For what its worth, i was actually gonna apologize to birdhunter but he kept bringing my name up, so I decided he wasnt worth the apology. For anyone else ive irritated over my tit for tat argument with him i do apoligize.

To be clear, i really do hope she is ok. That post was more about pointing out the fact that he is either full of it or just a hypocrite.

He also told a member here last night something like if his family had covid its there fault for not following all the social distance guidelines, cant be the same guy..... i mean that would be super hypocritical right?
