Yeah i wondered about that. Somehow i knew this post would become a thing though. Like i said in the very first post probably nothing. But it sure didnt take much for people to wipe the stores out of everything when covid started.
-
If you say so.

Didnt say i was worried about it or that i even believe anything is really gonna go down. Just a friendly fyi that there could be a run on stuff at the stores.

Family friend whos kid is in special forces being brought back home. Confirmed by her other 2 kids which one i think is air force the other some kind of undercover. Then another friend said he heard the same stuff from his pops who has high up military buddies. 3rd source was extended family of the wife.

I am now! Besides 21 years is enough to make myself feel at home. I have zero desire to even visit PA at this point. Only thing i miss is good pizza.

Are the direct thread alpha mounts basically the same us the thunderbeast?

One of my customers had a poster board with clothes pins holding money attached to certain jobs, floors, dishes etc. Also check out family do dots. It's kind of pricey though but once it's set up it should be pretty easy. We ended up getting the do dots but haven't got it set up yet.

On a tight budget $150ish the vanguard 264ao comes with an ok head (or newest version of it). The slik carbon fiber 634 is very popular with the benro S2 as the head (best value if looking for lightweight imo) Another good quality budget friendly head is the vanguard ph 111

Hotshot no pest strips available at lowes. They release a chemical vapor that leaves no residue. You could throw one in a trash bag then wrap it around the mount.

I like thunderbeast since you can buy the brakes for several rifles and swap the can back and forth.

Dont know the area personally but have looked into it. you can also access the area from the NM side, Geronimo trail can take you from the az side but im told the AZ side is much rougher. Do you have a tag for the area? As far as being a good area, its well off the beaten path and pretty far from towns. No reason to think it doesnt hold good deer.
