Good 10s and low end 15s? or Decent 15s and low end 10s?
CatfishKev replied to MWagner01's topic in Rifle hunting for Coues Deer
In your position if you want 15s id go with meopta. You should be able to get a new pair for like $1250 ish. Maybe used for $1100. But id also consider getting meopta 12s and selling the mavens to put towards a lower end spotting scope like a vortex viper 65mm. Good 12s and a spotter is a pretty versatile combo. In any case meopta is a great value in your price range -
Crazy, wouldnt mind picking up a dead head like that one!

From seeing his other posts over the years I don't think I've ever seen him be a jerk to people on here. I think he was legitimately trying to help.

Make sure the drywall edge is screwed tight and not free hanging otherwise if you go over that joint with the tile it will likely crack. You can shim it as mentioned or just float it out with some mud, and don't forget you will have a bed of mud to lay the tile on which will also give you some wiggle room.

If he is not concerned about getting a bull versus a cow as far as the fall hunt go I would put him in for late September and early October hunt as I think the cows are a bit prettier because they've grown a little bit more fur.

It's possible he rolled the window up because he didn't want all the dust blowing in his truck as you went by.

Thinking out loud. With the addition of cam laws it would be nice to see them open up predator hunting to nighttime with more than just flashlights and add kittys back into the mix. Id love to see them allow nightvision and thermals into the nightime arsenal and allow the take of lions and Bobcats. Thanks Andrew.

PA gets cold in the winter, be prepared for the worst pa has to offer and you will be ok. Just shed layers as needed after that.
