Yup. I went and looked at the place that sells them up there. Seemed reasonable for what they wanted for them and they seem pretty easy to work. Super easy to get parts for them.

Well said bojangles.

Except for its not their pet. It's a wild animal that they're probably not supposed to be feeding to begin with. While I can sympathize with a non hunter growing an appreciation for an animal they see every day and grow a bond with they should realize its a game animal and have realistic expectations of what could potentially happen to that animal.

At that age I'd be inclined to try some of those cheap chinese ones they sell up your way. Their all over craigslist. I hear they're decent if you go over all the nuts and bolts with lock tite. I was even thinking about trying the 250 for myself strictly for hunting.

Glad it worked out. For most I'm sure it ain't like that.

Nice little gun. Got the pink and stainless one for the wife. If I had the cash I'd get it for my moms.

I'm sure that like at any place with lots of employees and free internet access porn eats up most of their time.

Looks great. Chicken fried backstraps will make a game meat hater a game meat lover. It turned my wife right over.

looking for a cabinet and counter top guy to do some work
CatfishKev replied to Adicted's topic in The Campfire
I'm a licensed contractor (remodeling, drywall, roofing). Feel free to run the quoted numbers by me just to make sure your not getting hosed. Most contractors don't want to strip and refinish, too much of a pain. Probably cheaper and easier just to order new ones. If its something you wanna do yourself you could check out Lily Ann Cabinets. -
LOL, nothing makes you feel more alive than almost dying and cussing and yelling in severe pain!

Well you and Peg are small people or those are some pretty big pigs! Congratulation, its great to see a hubby and wife hunting together.

She's pretty. Now go get some blood stains in that bed.

Wow, thats like a black friday deal. Wish I had an extra $400 right now.

I'd rather break it up and have a high chance of going every year and have the members of the fam pitch in for the tag holders. Besides if you all get drawn you'd have to give to much meat away. Make the whole family go regardless, its fun either way.

Wait wait wait wait wait. Your son wants to work for actual money? What a concept! Most people these days just wanna go to the welfare store. -
If you plant it, they will come.

How much for just the tripod?

Dang, gotta get me one of those shirts! Nice job on helping a brother out.

It says they were purpose built for picking out couese deer and sheep. I wonder how they will stack up against the other big names. I wish they would bring back switch powers but with a bigger objective than the old 42's.

I had the VHS box set of the original versions. I was super stoked when the new ones came out but disappointed with the first one. The others were awesome though.

I have a 99 expedition with the 5.4. Ive had a couple ac compressors fail and have metal shards through the ac system. Not an engine problem though. I blew the engine in it due to not keeping the oil level up, my fault not the engine. The only issue I had with it was the flywheel broke a couple of teeth off and I had to replace it. And just recently the starter started to fail and messed the new flywheel up. After the new engine and other stuff I needed to fix I knew I'd never get my money back so now it's my badass huntin rig. Overall, pretty good engine I would say.

What's eating Gilbert grape, filmed down in Douglas. Oklahoma, filmed in Elgin. I read Stephen Kings Desperation, so I wanted to watch it. Never even knew it was filmed here until they showed An Arial view of Ron Perlman driving his police cruiser next to the big copper pit in Bisbee. I was told they filmed a lot of westerns and filmed a lot for little house on the prairie on the backside of the Huachucas.
