I have a pair of luepold 10/17x42's switch powers, a pair of kaibabs, 10 power diamondbacks and an older 80mm luepold sequoia spotting scope that I would love to put next to some other glass. Don't have enough glass to go around when I have multiple people with me. I always give them the good stuff and use the cheaper ones. Looking to trade my pair of 15's for two pairs of Vipers or similar. Otherwise I might just sell them for $800.

I had it. It worked but is slow compared to a bigger one, not great if your doing a lot of meat. I upgraded to the cabelas 3/4 hp.

According to DuWane Adams deer get their moisture primarily from plants. So when they do hit water it is essentially supplemental to what they are already getting. Personally I would never sit water during summer archery season unless it was very dry out, even then I think the odds would be better to glass up a buck and make a stalk. Also I think if the area is an easy ambush area for predators deer will avoid it. I had three cams out at the same time and two of the spots were open in a way where deer could see something coming. Another cam was in a kind of steep bowl shaped cut that was fairly dark due to all the canopy and cover. Never got a single deer on the third cam but did get bears and a lion while the other cams got deer semi regular.

What is the point of roasting them? Are they meant to be eaten as is when they are roasted? Never had them like that but I've smelled them a couple times and it smells great.

Sunday my daghters portal said not drawn, today under results it is blank for deer and pig. Hopefully that's a good sign.

Good for you! It makes me sick how much it cost to adopt a kid when there's so many of them that need saving. Personally, I think I would also look at fostering.
