Yup that's what I got my daughter. You can't beat $219 after rebates! Shoots pretty dang good too.

Something to at least consider. You could go with 12 razors around the neck and kaibab 20's and swap them around on the tripod. That could give you a pretty good look before glassing with the spotter.

Best bang for your buck I would go ruger like mentioned above. I was gonna get one for my kid but cabelas had a black Friday deal for a savage fv12 that was too good to pass up.

Saw some south of naeglen rim just glassing from a high point back behind young airport and also saw some come to water tank 2 days in a row just south of it also. This was in early October.

Seems like that would be worst place to be since that's where they'd target to get our missles. I think they would target major metro areas not missile silos. Besides ours would already be in the air, hopefully aimed at California.
