I think you'll be fine. I routinely glass deer that know I'm there. As long as they "feel" safe your good. I think it does depend on how use the deer are to activity.

While this does sound like a good idea you do run he risk of drawing the tag the next year and can't use point guard twice. So if you can't make the hunt you are screwed. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Only had a couple months. Bought on an out of town job when our normal rig broke down. Now we got all of our old pumps fixed and don't need this one. Just put in a brand new replacement pump.
