Best advice is a pair of decent 15s and a tripod. AZ is a whole other animal compared to back east.

Got two youth tags in 23. 1 elk 1 deer. Meat is priority 1. But my oldest daughter has the itch to hold out for a good deer if your interested. I got 5 kids. It will be a noisy camp.

Man at first I thought in the second pic was a giant bull with a giant mutant beam. I got sad when I saw it was just from the bull on his right. My heart raced for a few seconds.

Started in 2001 or so. Back when you could take a doe. I had no clue man, it's kinda funny to look back on what a noob I was. Of course it was all archery but still... Couldn't even kill a doe! Probably got my first buck with my bow around 2002 or 03. Was sitting under a big oak tree and saw a buck running straight at me from a distance. Stopped and turned broadside probably 15 feet in front of me. I aimed for the heart and got him in the neck. After he got done runing around in circles and died. Here came the mountain biker that scared him right to me! Great memory.

I always take my AR with me for the same reason... accept for last week. And wouldnt you know it. A coyote stood there looking at me at 60 yards. Grazed his back hairs with my XD40. Don't you guys have to make up a report if you fire your weapon at all? I'm not sure, I thought I heard that once.

I think they make fabric that allows water down in but no plant growth. But I'd have no problem us8ng plastic if it's done right. Plastic can't be exposed at all or it will deteriorate,

The shed or the deer?

Been cloudin up last few days by the huachucas and it finally dropped some today. SV got some and still is getting a few sprinkles today. This was my view coming from Benson back to town today. Looked like parts of the mules and dragoons were getting pounded pretty good! First pic shows the eastern edge of the huachucas off 5o the right and the South end of the mules off to the left. 2nd pic is looking towards tombstone direction.

Set them out back at night and do a few walk guys to see what the trigger time is really like.
