I looked at both those the last week. Ended up with another vanguard 264AO, same weight for less money. Although I'd rather have your set up for sure. More compact. And the S2 is nice. Btw, Is that your man purse on the desk?

Bumpin this up for any new perspectives. I'M looking hard at the PowerShot sx620 seems like a good all around choice for a beginner. Also has 25x zoom which seems pretty sufficient.

They sell diy kits at HD for about $50. Only tried it on one job but it came out decent.

Do you guys practice with them then just put new blades in to hunt? Or do you sharpen them?

I'm activating my in reach explorer. They have an option for rescue insurance for $17 a year worth 100k with 50k per incident. But only covers myself. I heard you can get insurance for a family for $100 per year but dont know anything about it. What do you guys recomend. Is it per state?
