I had to work. So while masking a skylight for painting a fly got stuck between the skylight and the plastic. I smooshed it with my finger and a bunch of baby maggots squirted out of its anus. Better then nothing I guess. -

Nobody with a late kaibab tag could ever get their skirt ruffled. -

Gotta work Friday and my now 10 year old as of yesterday has hunter ed on Saturday which takes priority other wise his youth elk tag is worthless. I am hoping to get away a couple times and hike into some wilderness areas and try some backpacking. Hopefully the wife can join me for an overnighter.

I'm planning on doing a coming of age / walk about type trip with my older two soon. Was thinking the crest trail of the huachuca. Of course the illegal alien element is something to be aware of. Mount Graham could be good too since there is a lake up there. Might even get lucky and find a small batch of elk in otc area.

I looked at both those the last week. Ended up with another vanguard 264AO, same weight for less money. Although I'd rather have your set up for sure. More compact. And the S2 is nice. Btw, Is that your man purse on the desk?

Bumpin this up for any new perspectives. I'M looking hard at the PowerShot sx620 seems like a good all around choice for a beginner. Also has 25x zoom which seems pretty sufficient.

They sell diy kits at HD for about $50. Only tried it on one job but it came out decent.
-
Do you guys practice with them then just put new blades in to hunt? Or do you sharpen them?
-

I have a nice 95 gallon corner tank I'm keeping. Trying to clean out the house before we hopefully move next year.
