I would say this site encourages women, the days of leaving wives and daughter's home to tend the house while the men and sons go out to hunt are quickly becoming a thing of the past. I'm very fortunate to have a wife that loves the outdoors and will be also spending time with my oldest daughter who has a deer tag in two weeks. If your a woman that's on facebook you should be used to internet caddiness. We probably all assumed you were a dude, if these guys knew you were a woman they probably would have been more polite. It just seemed odd someone asking about scat, that also didn't know what elk scat looked like joining a hunting forum.

There's a nice fancy place in Bisbee and they also got jimmies hot dog place which is dang good (get the Italian with au jeus on the side). Benson has a killer hot dog place too. SV has a lot of different t options but my favorite steakhouse is the steak house in Sonoita. Steaks grilled over mesquite.

Turns out the kid is a natural! Drilled his first dove with his first shot! Could not believe it. First 3 shots were 2 out of 3 which ain't too shabby for a kid that never hunted anything ever! In fact I think he did better than I did. Great big thanks to Bigbrowns for the invite and the use of his shotguns. When we pulled up to the farm doves were flying everywhere it was crazy! What do you guys prefer for an AR? I have a 3x9 power scope on the wife's right now, thinking about changing it. Strictly for fun or predator hunting. NOT for home defense etc.

Yeah, momma was the pickiest. They were all marinated in Italian dressing. Did some with the A1 sauce and mozzarella, and some without the sauce. Then did some with cream cheese. I like the cream cheese the most.

First time eating it. Was ok, not fantastic but still pretty good. Tried 3 different ways and preferred the bacon, cream cheese combo the most. Seasoned some taters and asparagus. Momma made some canoli bites. Good family night. Lots of laughs at the table.

Keep an eye on camofire. The deals they have are often really small and really big sizes. They've been having black ovis merino a lot. Not sure the sizes.

Thinking of a way to transition up there. Would like to send the wife and Mom ahead of me possibly to make a smoother transition. Any members have a place up there for rent or know someone? Like to go through a member before fishing through the realtor.

Yeah I know, we're also in process of seeing about qualifying for 2nd mortgage but dont want to rush i to buying a place.

Gonna get a few for out of town jobs. I have Wal-Mart, big 5 and cal ranch to choose from. Cal ranch ones seemed decent. Any experience with any of the box store types?

Lol, no not a slave driver. I gave them the option for hotels or staying in the house and more per diem. So the option is theirs to decide. We did hotels this week and gonna maybe stay in the houses were remodeling next week and see if we hate it. Ultimately the choice is up to them.

Thanks guys. Any of you use inflatable pads with them? I don't think I would like them. I would want something that would breathe a bit. I suppose I should add that this would be more for the employees too so we can cut back on hotel expenses.

I think you would be better served with 12s or 15s and a tripod. Tripod is VERY important.

Difficult question to answer. 5 kids, self employed. So maybe a five on your scale but of course it depends on the hunt. I will say this though, during he hunt I am totally immersed in it and consider myself diehard while in the act of hunting. I'm very determined but short on time. One of the reasons I want to move to Payson next year.
