The government shutdown got me thinking about the wall. I can only speak for right here where I live and its been years since Ive seen BP agents with a pile of dudes aoong side the road. Seems they are doing a great job on at least this side of the huachucas. I dont honestly know if a big physical wall is best or if the same purpose could be met the high tech way. Just curious what everyones opinion is on the subject. I'm particularly interested in the opinions of Border Agents and LEOs.

Highway 90 was slicker then chit. Almost got sideswiped by a jeep that lost control when I pulled over to switch to 4x4. Another car in the ditch and someone butt ended someone at the Benson exit. I told the guys screw it let go home early!

I got square shaped traps for bluegill that I use dog food in, always catch some crawdads. Not the best shape though if crawdads sre the target. The barrel double cone design mentioned above is probably a good one.

Absolutely exciting news for AZ. Working in St David just south of benson the dragoons looked amazing dusted with snow! Reminds me of why I love AZ so much. If I didn't have 3 kids in for Elk I'd be real tempted to go do one of those slover the counder elk tags next weekend! (Yes, spelled wrong on purpose).

Interesting read. The Only thing he doesn't really address is how it actually is spreading if it's not really through saliva, poop and urine. Are animals chewing on the bodies of carcasses? In any case I can live without the deer urine. But the no archery hunting within a quarter mile is stupid. -
Seems like someone noticed. Had a buddy asking me about it said its all over facebook people talking about "zombie deer". So i googled it and like three or four articles published in the last couple days popped up. It must have caught the attention of someone. So called "experts" are claiming it could spread to humans which is something I've personally given some thought too and hope it stays out of AZ. Hopefully the public awareness will bring about some helpful research.

Wow that sucks man. Did the deer seem healthy to you when you killed? Did they have a testing kit that gave intant results?
