Had the terra grapplers, I liked them. Have the BFG now and they throw more rocks then I've ever seen compared to everything else ive had. Once they wear down a little its not so bad but its definately annoying.

Hatchet jack is closer to you! Found another guy in Tucson named Adam that also makes them for both the kowa and swaro. He's out of kowa right now though. Just stopped today at the metal supply in Tucson and grabbed a bunch of aluminum stock. Trying to picture in my head how to make it.

Well if your glassing with a tripod and know how to glass I say just do the same thing. Yes it will be warmer so they will probably head for shade a little earlier. Scout and pattern your shooter and try and get him opening morning. What unit?

These would be 30x wide angle. I lucked out and met another contractor that has a machine shop, he said hed help me out in exchange for showing him how to use some specialty tools I have. I was thinking having one scope in a fixed position (no adjustment) so i could remove it and throw in my pack as a single spotter. The other i would have adjustable up and down and side to side. I was thinking on sort of a micro adjustment like on a bow sight.

So just an update to this thread. There is still, a guy in Prescott that makes them but they are only for the Swaro 65s. When searching some old posts I saw a guys name mentioned and PMd the member who mentioned him. He did say I can give his info to someone if they want it so if you are interested pm me. Now as for the Kowa 664s it looks like I am on my own. I did find an outfit back in PA that makes them for kowa scopes, but they only make them for the big objective kowa scopes but said if I can get some folks together they would probably have some made. I'm going to call them back next week and at least look into what they would cost. If anyone is interested let me know.
