Ive really been wondering about the mini ozone generators. I believe they do work but want more opinions!

Congrats on your buck, hopefully your boy gets a second chance. Time in the field is something I never experienced with my father. You and him have a lot to be thankful for. Cherish it.

Lardass. -
Awesome first post! I'm glad your first post wasn't about asking where to hunt. Btw, moo cows are cows with tits, the boys are bulls. You should worry more about bulls not cows! Welcome to the forum. Where are you located?

Everywhere. But remember it's archery only for you, (I assume you already know this, just saying). They are out the West gate and all the little roads when you come out that shoot to the right as they head downhill get mildly better. Once you hit the fenceline that is babacamori ranch (or similar spelling). Then if you head out to the end of cimaron road and hang a left like you are going to Parker lake then another left at the next intersection where you can keep going straight to go to parker or left to go back behind the huachucas toward the border. The whole area from that point all the way to where it comes around the backside of the mountain and wraps back around to palominas holds mule deer. It's worth mentioning that after the first left off Cimarron road that it rides the top of the ridge, I've only ever seen WT cross my path on that road while driving but that ridge runs high and I'd be willing to bet you could glass the valley to the east and spot some MD but that's just a hunch. You could potentially run into some BP that might try and tell you there are no deer back there, which will be because they either hunt and have animals patterned, or they just dont like civillians running around back there. But dont let that stop you! I'm not saying it's monster country but it does have potential. Next would be North of post in the mustangs which is on the other side of the babocamari ranch. Look all around, the higher the vantage point the more WT it is and the lower it is is more MD. Sierra vista and on post is pretty much a transition area, the further you get from oaks into desert country the more muley it becomes. The closer you get to the san pedro river it becomes MD country. Now the odd thing is once you get to the actual river bottom it is 50/50 what you will see. Some spots I have only seen MD and some spots I've only seen WT. Earlier I mentioned a tripod and 15s. This is really important. I would choose $400 glass on a tripod over $3000 glass without a tripod. I can't stress this enough. Once you get on board with this idea, your opportunity will skyrocket. If you want I will take you out some morning or evening to glass and show you.

Good luck!

I was referring to pronghorn. We do have big mulies down here, just not like up north. Even though me and my wife are from, and grew up in PA. I met her when I flew home (from Sierra Vista) for my grand pops funeral. When I told her where I lived she told me her mom grew up out here. I figured she was probably mistaken (you know, cuz she's a chick). And sure enough she put me on the phone with her mom and it was true. She even had a grandmother that lives here in town. Crazy, what are the chances? Oddly enough my brothers wife had a grandma buried out here too.

Why?

Maybe call a few local pet shops and vets.
-
We call it the zoo. Tons of animals and great country. There's even poop and rubs all in between the barracks buildings. Saw the biggest goat I've personally ever seen after coming in the main gate right after the road splits in the little creek that runs right through there. I don't know jack about scoring them but they had to be between 12" to 14" tall.

And no, it also did not stop me from eating it. Theres not that many options at 3 am after a night of partying.

I heard del taco cheese is like two molecules away from being edible plastic. And no, I did not fact check.

Grand Canyon to make second run at corralling bison herd

Gee wiz I've been trying so hard but I just can't find anyone that wants to pay me to show up sometimes when I feel like and do half assed work when I do show up. Times is tuff when the mans trying to keep you down -
Are you hellbent on mule deer? There's lots of glassing out the West gate with lots of vantage points. Down by the border and North of post in the mustangs and whetstones. If you don't already have 15s and a tripod you are missing out on lots of opportunity.

That looks practically inpenatrable by park official standards. -

Its the same as the horses. Nobody's gonna let them be hunted on the park. At the end of the day someone makes money when they get sold elsewhere and ultimately get hunted anyway. But hey someone made some money off it right? I'd really like to know more on how they "fenced" off water holes on the park to force them off to get water. Yeah they are big animals but geez they are not a midevil battering ram. TRY HARDER. It kind of makes me think of people that say they are trying to find a job but cant. To which i always think if you can't find a job you are obviously not looking very hard. -
kowa big eye spotter/20-60x variable eyepiece/ manfrotto tripod and head
CatfishKev replied to papasmurph3939's topic in Classified Ads
This is a Killer deal! I just bought 2 of these scopes to build this excact set up. For anyone considering big eyes you will not find a better bang for the buck. These scopes are a close second to the swaro 65s. I've got this much into my two scopes and 3 eyepieces and that doesnt even include the mounting plate and tripod. If someone is interested in the scopes or tripod I'd be interested in the plate. I got all the aluminum stock and access to machinery but I have no time. -
There are extensio posts that some companies make.
