Thanks again everyone. Good news is no surgery! They did a but scope and tummy scope and found inflamation. The obstruction we believe now was the actual inflamation. They took biopsy from each end and hopefully that will tell us why it happend to begin with. Initially he had the flew last week which snowballed the stomach thing. Anyhoo, thanks a bunch guys.

CWT is the best, thanks guys. So here's the overall update from the doc. They are gonna start letting him have some liquid, (poor kid ain't ate or drink since Saturday evening) if that goes ok then some semi solids. If that is ok they are gonna try and clear hom out for a colonoscopy (or something similar) maybe wednesday. If were lucky maybe that will be it but basically hes staying til wednesday and then the next big decision. They are trying to rule out any sort of bowel disease before any type of surgery.

If i remeber correct yes. At least I had to for the kids that have one.

Thanks guys. Looks like hes unusual case so they're doing more investigating.

Cool to see you always kill stuff with your pops. I hope you know how lucky you are. And btw, that shirt is starting to look faded, I hope it can keep up with you pig killin fools.

If your willing to go out of state just to fill your freezer I would seriously consider an AZ over counter hunt. Even if you didn't kill first time around you gain valuble info for next time. I've never had a drawn tag in az but still have killed 3 times. None of these hunts are a gimme, but all are doable with a little legwork.

Looks like yes, but based on last years numbers if im not mistaken. Let's pin down exactly what you guys have BP wise collectively on your app. Man I'd hate to burn that many points on a cow tag, unless of course you simply dont care because you already killed a good bull and just wanna go hunt.

Weird. I couldn't make one for myn11 year old last yewr. Will try to make one for my 10 year old tomorrow. Expect profanity.

Kev grows hotter. How old are they now? I would love to be wrong but as I understand it the new rule is 14 and over?

Well, while I'm bitching about stuff. Its also irritating that when they send the do not reply to receipt after each purchase they show you what hunts you put in for but not the primary name on the application. Of course they send the name of the cardholder and addrees, whooptee freaking dooo.. Makes it oh so easy to keep track of who I have and haven't put in yet. Oh and another thing, kids portal accounts not allowed before 14 another PITA!, Which reminds me what ever happened to Family portal. Maybe by 2028. Oooohhh Im so hot right now!
-
Agreed, what a pita! Not very user friendly at all.

Some kind of weather tracking balloon? Make sure the tracker is charged, maybe the owner will find you. I'd post something on CL like go pros and GPS found.

Using salt and cameras to locate a specific buck
CatfishKev replied to LonePineOutdoors_AZ's topic in Coues Biology
I think this is your best bet. Don't get rid of your blocks since you have them. Maybe start with the loose salt then bring the blocks next visit to keep it going. Cal ranch sells the loose stuff. I think it's good to visit your cams in a week or two anyway. Its good to check and see if the tree they are on moves to much, did you put in on the wrong setting, is the sun bleaching out the image at prime time etc. It sucks to get 800 pics of garbage. Oh and pay attention to your cam direction as fsr as the sun goes. -
Don't let ole buster see it!

I've always heard it's better to buy the loose bags of mineral salt because the cattle wont mess with it. -

Teamwork and spotting/guiding a shooter in on a buck
CatfishKev replied to LonePineOutdoors_AZ's topic in Bowhunting for Coues Deer
Also, garmin GPS units have a feature called sight and go. Range your animal type it in and point the gps at the deer. It still has a margin of error but it gets you close if your by yourself. Old gps units are cheap. -

If possible line the shooter and buck up with the spotter. Example if the shooter can see me I'll walk them above the buck in a perfect straight line. The distance I tell them may be off but they can look at me and know the buck is at least straight between me and him. -

I wouldn't use all 5. If your looking for one buck maybe set up 1 camera per canyon or big draw. Set up in a bottom or north facing slope in shade. Look up old posts by Jason Miller, je has a cam series of videos hes madeon the subject -

When being guided in assume a wide margin of error. It's just part of the game. It's a much easier task with rifle then a bow. -
Lead guitarist for Bonesaw? Which one? Nemesis records then lost and found? My all time favorite band Converge was with lost and found and I was into 108 for awhile too.
