With stockers we always kill it with the pautzke pink shrimp eggs when lots of others are catching little to nothing with powerboat and or worms. We use the small prettied treble hooks with a piece of splitshot to hold up the egg sinker to create a longer leader.

Daughter's October White Tail

Awesome buck! I was wondering what was up with his base on his right side. -
$60 bucks for a youth elk tag is a no brainer. I got 5 kids, been filling the freezer with cow tags the last few years. 4th kid turns 10 this year! That has definately made it easier to build points.
-
Well assuming you want a bull and not a cow hunt I'd probably go for a late archery tag. 3 is better then none. If you don't have your hunters ed get it for another point and then after 5 years of applying you gain a loyalty point. Adds up before ya know it. I've got 6 points, after this year I'll gain a point and also earn my loyalty point and should have 8 next year. I just can't decide on a unit.

Got ya. Based on first post I assumed you were out of state. Assuming you are now an az res with an az license you are at least not capped at 10% of the tags. You live in the valley?

You moved to az in 2017? Or ND?

Dude has 3 posts. First in 2012.

I'll send you a pic of me, a jar of peanut butter and 3 Boston terriers. In the meantime let your imagination run wild. -
My first ever bow and hunting experience was with a Nova. Had no clue what i was doing. I missed a lot of deer with that bow!

Been watching the "First 48" lately. Lots filmed in Tucson. Couple people killed a cabby to rob him and and got zero $. Found a what to expect during pregnancy book in his bag. Sad. Turns out his fiance was 3 months pregnant. And of course the perps, they were gonna flee to Mexico. Kept thinking how much it must suck to be an investigator and constantly be under the gun to try and get perps before they cross the line. Makes me wonder what the actual rate of violent crime is done by illegals that get away before being arrested. -
Congrats man. Dont think I could pull that off.

I've paid $100 to get barrels threaded and brake installed. No idea on the bolt but I've read roughly fluting cost about $100 per ounce. Seems like a good deal to me. If I was in the market I'd jump at this.

What a beast!

That's funny, I always wonder the same thing. I think most serious coues hunters are also probably like that. As for the water question, I feel like I go through a lot of water. I'd personally feel safer having 2 gallons per day and bring some sort of electrolyte mix.

That sucks dude. I once heard someone mention they dont have any hunting stickers on their vehicles for this very reason (like it's an advertisement that there could be pricey gear inside). Made me think and I've also decided not to put any on my truck. Not to mention an occasional tree hugger that might want to key my car or something. Of course not having stickers wont stop a potential thief either. Any chance you have an app on the tablet to be able to find where it is? -
Thinking the same thing. Need to find one for coues

Awesome deer congrats! And yeah the food looks amazing.
