Passing along a deal - 12x20 Cabelas Alaknak Tent $250

Killer deal -
I too wonder what effect it Will have on the overall economy and housing market. With the economy already being effected and now travel related people getting less work, disneyland shutting down etc etc it will effect people's income. When that happens bills and mortgsges dont get paid. Could potentially cause a domino effect like the last recession we had. I basically flip homes for the banks to put back on the market so I'm a little nervous what effect it Will have on my household.

Been working a job in Douglas. Saw a building CSL plasma center. Apparently you can make $400 a month donating plasma. I thought why the heck not, let's save up for some el12s. Hopefully they dont screen and catch the aids.

My hands are clean and I got long fingernails. I can give you a good scrape.

Lol, he wants to stuff you with something soft.

I don't know man I thought that the reason that China was so much cheaper was because they steer clear of all the pollution and safety OSHA type laws. Is it even possible for American companies to be competitive?

The sunfish is ok for live bait. Down here it's just a toss up for which lakes your allowed to use certain live baits and throw a cast net. Parker no nets and worms only, patagonia nets ok and pretty much any live (legal) bait. We got a dog with cancer, gonna take her to Patagonia this weekend for one last fishing trip. ☹️

How would you target a lion?

Theres one in 23 off the 260 and young road. I know theres a deer camp down in tonto Basin too, not sure if they have elk hunters down there too. The bulls are always still bugeling a bit in 23 on our youth hunts. I've always wanted to try a calf in distress call on one of our hunts but never gave it a try yet. With out any pressure I bet it might work.

That ones just not gonna get old for years to come.

dang dude that sucks! I guess that's the upside to being broke right now because I don't have any investments.

Home depot is out of paint masks. Guess well do it the old fashioned way and spit pure white, agreeable gray or kilim beige colored hockers out of our sinuses the next few days.

Bull Elk hunt in November unit 3a & 3c - need ideas
CatfishKev replied to Art20's topic in Elk Hunting
Zeke was simply making an analogy. 90% of the people on this forum are what I would consider to be "hard core" hunters. We put in a whole lot of effort and believe it or not we actually (for the most part) like to help people. The problem with a new member is most of the time they show up right after the draw asking for help when they haven't helped contribute for the greater good. They get the help they need and then never return to say thanks or even share the story of their success. You may be the type or maybe not. Point is this makes people feel unwilling to help because in the end its often in appreciated. The wrong question to ask is where do I go? The right thing to ask is how do I hunt this unit on this particular hunt? And I'm honestly not trying to be rude but you called a bull elk a buck and called deer deers. It's hard to take you seriously because most new hunters know the difference. And even worse you live in the unit your hunting, you should be the one we are asking for help. Again, really not trying to be mean just trying to explain why your getting the reaction that you are getting. -
You obviously understand way more than me on this. 1. Why would cruise and airlines cut back on consumption when prices are gonna drop? 2. Did OPEC and Russia do this to screw the us somehow? 3. What's the big picture downside?

You shouldn't even have wasted your time responding to him.

Dumb it down for me. What's this mean? USO is oil correct?

Good thing it happened there and not on a bunch of spectators

Best bang for your buck budget tripod is the vanguard 264ao ($149 with a decent head on it) Vultures are a good start. Keep an eye on aaoptics.com for a refurbished pair of vultures, vipers or even kaibabs. On the late hunt I think glassing is your best bet.
-
Good start. I was surprised on the kaibab how many people bailed after the first weekend on primo tags. Even though it's a tough hunt you have to consider the caliber of other hunters. Most guys are not hardcore, this website is the exception I think. Guys here for the most part are pretty die hard which also makes this a great place to hang out and learn. If you get out there and scout hard and hunt harder you can make it happen. Do you know how to use a tripod to glass?
