Looking for someone in Tucson to install Granite counter tops
CatfishKev replied to Phil Carr's topic in Classified Ads
Oh, I just remembered that window depot sells I think 9 ft slabs with the front edge already done and comes with the back splash. You would just need to find an installer. I got a couple numbers of installers of you need too. -

Granite granite only sells to contractors and installers. Its worth a call st the very least. They can give a a few guys that do the installs. I bought a few slabs from them for installs down my way and all the installers are from Tucson. Shoot me a pm if you have any questions. -
Great pics and congrats!

Hmmm.. I see the argument for renting over buying for sure if you buy one and finance it. But if you want to buy something functional you dont need to spend a ton of money. Sure a $5000 camper dont look as cool as the nice new ones at the campground but honestly who gives a chit. If you dont care about keepin up with the Jones's and it does everything the nice new shiny ones do who cares? Buy used, sell used. Think I paid $7500 for ours and could probably fetch $5k pretty easy, $4k if I'm desperate for a fast sale. Had it for sheesh like 6 years. So my cost per year at a $4k resale is something like $600 add tires, bearings, batteries and upgrades add another $500 average per year. So at $1100 I'm good with owning an average looking camper.

While on the topic, what's a camper cost to rent for let's say a week?

You should check out the Carol Baskin post. Primo stuff.

Might be able to do it online, they prefer that right now anyway. There are also dmv title shops in your area ad well, known to be faster but they charge a convenience fee.

Tactics in brutal heat: August OTC season.
CatfishKev replied to 180ls1's topic in Mule Deer Hunting
Ok just wondering, dont know about anything up that way. Although my approach would be tripod and good 15s, glass in the am until 10am, and from 4pm til dark and in the afternoon id start my glassing on any available shade. Glass is your friend, let the binos do the walking and be patient. From 10 to 4 I'd either sit water or sweat your a$$ off walking and finding tracks, sign and water. -

Just fyi, if you are hunting the sky islands down south expect mule deer country to stop at roughly 3500-4500 at which point it will become coues country from there up. Where abouts in AZ are you thinking of hunting? -
This. And I'd look for something used. What they want for the newer ones is ridiculous imo.

I always think I'm gonna hunt the summer. Then summer rolls around and I'm like f that. And I live at 4500'! I do want to get a big velvet coues someday though. Maybe this is the year. But probably not. -
Does post have it's own hunt number? Thought it was part of the regular 35a draw? Didn't know about cams on post either.
-
Maybe. I hear so many different theories I dont even know what to believe is true.

Read the other day that heat doesn't kill it off like the flu so that's a little disheartening.

Somebody needs to buy this before I pick up a hobby I dont have time for!

Clayton Bigsby gonna be there too!

Well as of this morning we have been officially stimulated. It's time to go try on banana hammocks.
-
Gonna have a party. Lots of hookers and blow and your invited. For dudes a banana hammock is the only appropriate attire.

Welcome to the forum and also to AZ! I live here in town id be happy to take you out sometime. What do you have gear wise? You need a tripod for sure, a decent set of glass is equally important too. The standard is a pair of 15s but a good pair of 12s is good too. Ideally the priceier the better but if you have a skinny budget a pair of viper 15s are good enough, Luckily you have access to land that I don't and there are some great deer on post. Deer draw has not happened yet and I would not expect to kill one with a bow your first year out, so I'd still put in for a early rifle tag when the time comes. Just screwing around on a lunchbreak I took a buddy up to the lookout when we were working on post, mid day in the summer we still glassed up deer right from there. Since its early I'd focus on finding some water holes off the beaten path. I got some salt blocks left from a bison hunt I won't use anytime so you can have a couple. I'd set some cams on water with the salt and hope for a bruiser to show up on cam form the summer hunt.
