Morels are only supposed to be in early spring. Easter will be my mental reminder for those. Lobsters seem to be one of the most easily identifiable. If I remember correctly 7000' and up and if you found one they are probably abundantly nearby.

Ive yet to taste one. Cant wait though. Im really interested in finding some of the lobster claw mushrooms this weekend. They supposedly actually taste like seafood. I'm wanting momma to find a killer lobster bisque recipe to put some in . Did you find some and then dehydrate them or what?

Its time to get out there!. About 7000' should get some primo stuff! Took a practice run tonight up in Miller canyon. Just couldn't get enough elevation for the good ones, only found non edibles. Looks like we are going up top the mountain the next few days.

Your having me second guess my want to move to Payson. Your right cost is a factor in getting there. For you guys that know the state well... I want someplace slightly cooler then sierra vista not hotter. But I dont want Flagstaff or Alpine cold. What's left? Obvious choice seems sho low? Quick look on my weather app shows this. Does show low still get brutal cold like Alpine?

Hoping for a good stimulus. Got on big house I'm bidding on now. After that there won't be any foreclosures until pprobably march. Ill start doing some advertising and take some time to get my pest control business off the ground.

Lee is probably right. A 6 pack could be good, maybe 10 people like Nick's last trip. I was thinking more for next year. I'm tapped financially for awhile, now that they extended foreclosure moratoriums I will likely become unemployed in the next few months. When the time comes though my crew could account for 3 heads.

It was awesome. I was humbled by the experience. When they say bft are finicky with hook size and line weight they are not kidding. It blows my mind the size fish these guys are catching with tiny hooks. Makes me think I need to completely re-evaluate my flathead fishing game

No, he hooked the first and handed off to his daughter. She landed it. Second he fought til the end and handed to her as well. 2 for frank crew Having a zero baseline I thought the crew was ok. The bait tank guy was solid though. His name is Nick, he tried to make sure Bran pulled one in. Not sure if his line was old or just a faulty knot. When she pulled it back in the end of the line was pig tailed. I liked the guy though. Also when i hooked, one of the hands stayed by me and guided me pulling it in. At the end of the day we had a blast and im itching to do it again.

Yeah, him and his kid pulled in two. If I member correctly one fish went completely around the boat. First guy that hooked went completely around the boat twice, big freaking boat too. Dude was tired after.
