A3 Golden Boy Jed Larson Convicted of Poaching
CatfishKev replied to NoBull350's topic in The Campfire
Honestly wasnt trying to contest any of that with you. My point was more about defending someone despite what the majority might claim. While I don't agree with the Jed factor i respect the fact you are willing to state your mind even though the majority may disagree. #CONTRARIAN That's right trphyhntr, 3rd time use on this website. And it all started with you. -

I respect you and your opinion, although very brave here. And to be honest I respect that even more. Bc777 offered me help on some youth hunts and I gave him the benifit of the doubt, even though it turns out i was wrong about him in the long run. I'm not gonna lie, not an A3 fan. -
Lol. I know!

Been "learnin" for 20 some years (yes I realize thats not too long). Didn't feel this was the post to explain the scemnatics of the situation necessarily. Haven't advertised since 2014, Saw something I thought was cool while also bad timing. Life happens. -
Very nice Nick. I'm with Lee on the "gotta have some horseradish" nearby. Tell momma I said Hi and good job!

That's pretty cool Tony. I cut my very first fingertip off with a spyderco. Since I'm a Duwane Adams fanboy and always enjoyed the informational posts here you've posted, I'd love the serrated one to keep as a memento. Happy to pay full price but I'm broke at the moment! I'm owed a measurable sum but waiting for paperwork to go through unless a couple folks sign my kitchen remodel contract. Heck, I think I'd be happy to take both of your hands and since my work is slow and im a licensed contractor. I'd love to come work for you for a day too! Maybe share a beer and show me your trophies with a couple stories to boot? -
No recipe? #Thassmessedupbro

My worry with any star drag was if have a run hitting the switch and having the line snap. Being a noob I decided play it safe with a lever which acts as a visual drag setting. That Being said. Penn website had I think it was squall stardrags on sale for cheap which is was gonna buy for us for lighter fish. Also they had a deal on a free duffel on top of that. Could be the ticket.

Why star drag for the 15?

Just remember it's still hunting. If it was easy liberals would do it. Keep at it dude

Kenetrek Mountain Extreme Boots-SOLD

We're they resoled? I think they lose a half size when new soles are put on. I bought a used pair that were and they were just too small, gave am to my oldest boy. -
Offer it to that kid Bradley Larsen. He's a little baddass in the making. He's got a thread right now in the muley forum. Very nice of you btw!
-
Does he do it out of his house? What machinery? I had an 80% kit. I started it, got intimidated and sold it to a member here. Not sure if he got to shoot it yet.

Yeah, save the best meat first if you have split trips then just do your best. That's all you can really do.
-
How far is the closest place to get ice from your truck? Depending on that if you need to make 2 trips with meat take all the prime meat first, loins, back straps etc and haul butt to the truck, get ice and haul butt back. Note, when having a full heavy pack and being in a hurry make sure you have walking sticks.

I think I retract this comment. After measuring my last buck and others I think he would have gone 100+

I have looked through both 15 hd side by side, I honestly could not tell the difference but to be fair it's probably there I just couldn't personally see it. On this same outing we also had a pair of EL 12s. Like I said if you have the money go swaro, but the meoptas are still freaking awesome. But i myself am planning on losing my 15s for 12s, possibly 10s. If i had the cash, id go EL 12 over the meostar 12s. But I don't, so probably will go meopta

Wish I could travel back in time to the good ole days

I'm terrible scoring muleys but that's a shooter first morning at first lite. I was gonna say 188 but I think im lucky just to get within 5". That's a stud man!
-
Had the meoptas till i was tight on cash. Meopta 15s definately beat the non hd swaro. Never had eye strain myself with them personally. $ vs value meopta will not let you down. If you got a big checking account just go swaro hd and don't look back but will meopta let you down? Not at all.

My wife also drinks white claw sometime. Cuz she has a vagina.

Interesting. Any idea why such a huge difference in animals? Do you think they are just hiding better or something else?
