Weren't browns 18 a pound a couple years ago? With inflation the cost of literally everything has gone up. But browns have gone down?

Did you just get lucky and saw it or were you calling?
  9. Been wanting to do this project for awhile. A friends kid recently got a bad diagnosis so it put a fire under me to finish so I can give him one. These things are great for leafy greens (kale, spinach, lettuce, cabbage etc) and can also be used for other stuff like strawberries, blueberries and other veggies. I'm loosely following this guy's build #2 video but have changed it in a few ways. The changes I would do would be #1 make the base a little bigger, just enough to be able to bring it through a typical front door. This would space the verticals a bit further away from each other allowing more water storage and less refills, while giving each vertical a bit more sun. #2 build the bottom non growing areas a bit taller to hold more water and refill less often. #3 give each growing hole more room from the others. I don't think he allowed enough space in his design to allow a full head of kale, lettuce or whatever to grow without crowding each other out. #4 make it just a tad taller but not so tall that I would need to stand on something to harvest the top row. #5 choose a different pump, one that sucks out of the bottom of the unit not the sides, I think this pump will start sucking air once the water level reaches the bottom flat portion of the unit.

    Corner Crossing

That's great news! I was curious how that would pan out and I gotta say I'm in 100% agreement. I hope other states start to follow this logical way of thinking.

    My first coues sheds

Technically got one matching set, but they were not together. Found the second one about 100 or so yards away (elk).

New World Record Elk out of Washington.

He only lied to the neighbor about it from what I read scared that he would do something to push him out. Completely ok in this situation imo. The VM to the actual landowner which he recorded (smart on his part) stated he was hunting elk. The actual landowner claimed he thought it was for retrieval but the saved VM saved him there. At least from what I read ..

    My first coues sheds

Never came across a matching set of any species so that's pretty cool. I was so stoked when I found my first shed.

What is the “life cycle” of scat?

Coues have a small home range, 1.5 to 2 miles squared. So the bucks will be close enough. Look for clumpy buck turds rather then pellets to start. Also focus on north facing slopes and drainages and cuts, basically shady spots deer will bed. But the best thing you could probably do is glass the areas you are interested in. Tripod plus binos and just look and see what the deer in that area are doing.

Read the OL article, pretty interesting. Seems like the neighbor of the private property he shot it on sure had a real hard on for the hunter.

Like dude mentioned above is it a square foot issue could you like cut it in half and make it two units? In any case 4K sounds like a good price because I hear most people pay more than that these days so I will let some of my customers know. Do you have any idea who would haul something like that and what it might cost to get it to the let's say Hereford area?

What is the “life cycle” of scat?

Honestly you answered your own question. It is variable to conditions and environment. What species are you trying to find and in what unit? What's the terrain like?

Reminds me of how cochise county is down here. Won't let you live in an RV but you can for 2 years while building a house. Then people build these ridiculous looking tiny homes that are ten times the eyesore the RV woulda been.
