I'd be looking at some better units if it was my first time ever putting in. It sure seems like people have really good "luck" the first year they put in, myself included. Haven't drawn a tag since in units with better than Gila unit odds.

I love that mass on these coues bucks!

Congrats on the stud bucks! I see you are from CO. How many points did you guys burn for that tag? -

Congrats on a great buck and thanks for the nice write up. I love reading about others hunts during the offseason! -

That is a gnarly buck! What a stud.

I honestly couldn't tell you. Its been a couple years since I had that gun built. I don't typically hunt with that gun. I have shot a couple of matches with it and shoot long range for fun with it.

It's no AZ monster, but I thought you guys might want to see him still. I had a couple days at the end of the season after guiding to get out and hunt for myself with a couple of buddies a long for the ride. Pretty pleased!

Resizing brass from .284 to .308 safe?
Okbow87 replied to AZbowhntr's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
Like stated earlier... Just watch for a donut forming at the bottom of your case neck after you neck up. Some brands of brass are thicker in the shoulder than the neck, and necking up turns a small portion of the shoulder into the neck. -
I was wondering if anybody had a copy of the leftover list from 2016 or any other recent years, 14 and 15? Trying to have a back up plan researched for leftovers if my buddy and I don't draw anything in 2018. Thanks! Colin

Anybody have the leftover list saved?

I always love seeing youth having success! I'm not coues expert, but have quite a bit of eastern whitetail experience. I would guess just north of 120" gross. -
130+ 3x3!!!!!!! and another deer....

I can't stop drooling looking at all those awesome bucks. You all had one heck of a season.

I can only hope my first coues looks like that! Congrats.

Awesome buck! Typical bucks with great mass like that are what my dreams are made of.

Who says size matters? A true buck of a lifetime!!!

I have seen a few piebald deer here in OK, but have never heard of a coues deer piebald in any of my research. Pretty cool! -
What a great write up. I thoroughly enjoyed the story. Congrats on a great buck to boot!
