Laundromat front loader XL machine. Or your bathtub. I've had to go both routes a couple of times.

Nice truck. Any chance you can send me info on who you went thru with the tires? I have a 2016 Trail Premium and want to also change out the stock tires. Pretty much the same setup. Do you have the KDSS suspension? If so, how did that effect the lift and was there any issues with the truck warranty?

Bumping an old thread here. Just picked up my javelina from Von Hanson's yesterday. Had them process it into the jalapeno cheese bratwurst as hoghntr recommended. Amazing stuff. Put a couple into the sous vide yesterday with a half a beer. Finished them up on the grill. Turned out awesome and will be a good compliment for this weekend's brisket. Washed down with some Santory and was a happy camper. Thanks again for the recommendation. My hound was also pretty happy with the smoked beef shanks they sell. -
Nice fish. Great pics!

Nice. Looks like the guy received some decent stingray shanks at the end of the video. Ouch. Been there done that in Las Conchas. No bueno. We've been out on kayaks pretty far off the beach at Las Conchas fishing for triggers and rock bass. We'd get the occasional big dark spots cruising underneath the kayaks. Always figured them as dolphins....but I guess I'll have this video in the back of my mind. Thanks. Hahahaha.

Bump for a good deal. That's a sweeet swimbait rod. If I already didn't have the same one, I'd be all over this.

Anchor up near the tires, chum with some anchovy heads and tails. Drop a green light and you should be into them just after sundown. Prior to sundown, troll a Staysee 90 SP in Castle or Humbug.

They stocked a bunch of FL strain LMB in Roosevelt a while back. Now, I believe they are working on habitat for that lake. I believe, the only fish they stock into the Salt chain lakes are trout into Canyon, Saggy and Apache. If you have signed up for the "I Support Wildlife" program with AZGFD, they give you daily stocking reports (see pic below). From what I understand, the bass/cat/gill stockings are only in urban lakes. Saguaro is on fire right now. Literally fish in a barrel. Same with Bartlett, but you'll be having a good day if you catch a bass over 2# there.

I have it if you still need it. Or just hit him up on Pro Swimbaits. Super good guy. He does great work on reels and pours killer baits. Just be prepared for a very long winded chat. Dude will talk your ear off.

When I'm fishing local lakes or out bird hunting, blue lens Costa 580G When I'm not on the lake, anything that's in the console of my truck.

Pending this other deal, and if it is indeed a 20 #, I would be interested. Please let me know. Thank you! Will do. I'll check when I get home from work and send you a message.

I have a 20# (I think it's 20#, I need to check) Danforth in my garage that I can part with for $20 if you'd like.

I've been using a MSR Miniworks since 1999. Works great, never an illness or a breakdown of the pump. Just gotta keep the filter clean.

Looks fantastic. I still have a couple of MN whitetail roasts in the freezer. I will have to try this.

Great truck. I somewhat regret trading in my 2008 FJ m/t. Loved that truck

Those look like Danner Gilas? If they are, I have a pair and they are great boots. A bunch of miles on them quail and javelina hunting.

Looking at SLR's

I guess I would ask, what's your objective? Pro quality photos? High end photos but also sacrificing weight? I would agree that a high end full-frame DSLR is nice, however it might be best to really make the large spend in lenses. More specifically, purchase the lowest aperture lens you can afford (eg, Nikon 70-200 f2.8). I've had all sorts of Nikon DSLRs and I love them all. But, more recently....I was turned onto Mirrorless DSLRs. I was very skeptical at first. But ended up finding a smoking deal on B&H for a Samsung NX3000 with a 20-50 lens and a 50-200 lens in a combo kit. I liked the idea of it because it was much smaller to travel with, still took 1080P video, great reviews and also synced up to my phone, tablet, etc in order to sync photos/videos wireless (over wi-fi). Ended up getting that and I took it on a few vacations (including in some shady areas in Miami, Rio and Buenos Aires) along with countless fishing and hunting trips. Needless to say, I much prefer if I'm traveling just due to the amount of weight and bulk I can save over any of my full size DSLR's, but still having the ability to take very high quality photos. If you want some examples of photos, let me know and I can send you some Google Photos links. Granted there are options for Mirrorless DSLRs other than Samsung. Sony, Olympus and Nikon have really stepped up their Mirrorless game. -
Great write up. Nice job! Gets me fired up for my upcoming hunt in 27.

Thanks for the info. I was just about to ask if anyone has gotten their javelina back yet. Mine is butchered up and still vacuumed sealed in my freezer. I'll run it down there next week. -
Great choices. If you're into bluegrass, check out Truckstop Honeymoon.

Me too. First elk tag for me. Pretty excited.
