You may want to setup a VPN to run your Sling and other streaming devices. By doing that and routing it thru another location (eg. Texas). That should "geo-locate" you to another area to where you should be able to get D-Backs games.

This is a great trip. One of my favorite hikes in AZ

+1 on the Danner Gila

Looks really good. Never thought about doing a sous vide burger, but definitely something I'd like to try. Your previous post on elk pastrami motivated me to try one. I have an elk roast that's been in the brine for 7 days. Pulling it tomorrow and then in a smoker over oak until it hits about 150*.

Bumping this thread as Camofire has a smoking deal going right now on a SD Nightwatch FL tent.

Nice! I'll be out there tonight in a white/teal Champion 181 trying for a similar result. May start at the river or down by the dam. Still deciding.....

Seems like most of the time, the ones in the white styro cups are half dead. Liar's Korner always has good nightcrawlers. Plus it's a great tackle shop. Try that place next time.

Free propane tank (big kind for a house) Nogales

Sure will. I wish this were closer to the valley. Aaron Franklin has a great episode on YouTube on building a tank into a smoker. Seems like a ton of the old school Texas stick burners use old tanks. -
I just went thru this exact scenario. I had a pack with bad zippers (who doesn't with Badlands packs??) that I had to send back. Went on their website and wrote that it was a Superday. Looked like the closest one to me. Didn't seem to matter too much. Repaired the zippers and back to me that same week. Bump for a great deal.

My present neighbor likes to feed and hoard feral cats. It got pretty old after a while when I would hitch the boat up at the crack of dawn to go fish and the dang cats got into the boat when the cover on it was as tight as a drum. Had a few conversations with him about it and he still wasn't having it. Needless to say after a few months of Operation Relocation, he's asking me if I've seen his cats. Sometimes conversations with the guilty party still don't work.

Check out the ponds over by Marguerite Lake. They usually hold decent bass.

You also may want to take a look at some of the publications that U of A puts out from their College of AG. A ton of good info in here. https://extension.arizona.edu/pubs

Some friends of mine have a place in Clear Creek Pines and this was at the fire station few hours ago as they were leaving the neighborhood.

Great deal for a good fishfinder. I run that same one on the bow of my Champ 181.

Costco has a set of 3 collapsible LED lanterns that take AA batteries for $20. Granted I haven't tried them yet, but I usually have decent luck with lanterns I've bought from them in the past. However, the solar inflatable lanterns in the previous post look pretty good for a tent lantern. I ended up ordering a few. Thanks for posting those.

FS: Swarovski SLC HD 10x42 Full-Size Binoculars SOLD!

No experience with this seller, but looks like might be cross posted on texashuntingforum. Just a heads up. -
Normally I'd have jigs with green pumpkin twin tail grub trailers, dropshot Red Crawler robos and Vision 110 jerkbaits tied on. But yes, algae bloom has that lake in pretty rough shape right now. Sounds like it's also starting at Canyon as well. Just a matter of time before it makes it's way to Saguaro. I'd skip Apache and fish Roosevelt instead.

Looks awesome. Torch is the way to go post sous vide. Nice job.

Regular LMB rigs work just fine
