I honestly only own a 22lr and never have owned any rifle capable of killing anything of size would like to buy a cheap rifle that I can use to hunt Elk, Bear, Deer and Coyote doesn't need to be anything fancy and really can only spend in the $300 range. Thank you all for your replies Hopefully will have a rifle by tomorrow quality optics might be farther down the road... but accurate out too 100 yards is what I will be practicing at.

I have been looking at some of the savage models I am comfortable with all rifles just never have purchased any and feel like I should just own one. Just seeing if some one has they need to get rid of or clear space for a new rifle.

So any way I have no friends that hunt.. so I need some haha. Just looking for someone to hang with when I am out hunting. I am not really that experienced would be willing to hang with some one more experienced or new too hunting. Kinda feel lame for posting this but I am going head out next weekend friday all day and saturday morning with a archery deer tag. If any one has been lurking around for a while looking for an excuse to get out and hunt let me know. BLAKE

What recurve should I start with there are so many options out there. I don't want to buy an expensive bow and find out I am just not dedicated enough to practice or just plain stink and shooting without a sight. Maybe some one can point me in the right direction. I have been looking at the bear grizzly probably 45# draw but near $400 still seams a little steep to me being only a stick and string. Ive been shooting compounds since I was 8 but want to try traditional for a bit. What do you guys/ gals think

Nice bull got my first bull this year too

I got lucky Monday night and had this bull come by pushing cows just 30 yards in front of my a light whistle stopped him let the arrow fly he only ran 30 yards and took a dirt nap. Good trip the bulls werent talking much glad we both filled our tags and now I need a bigger deep freeze.
