Today i was down in 36B.And it seems that two Illegal woman strolled into some bowhunters camp.BP was there and had them on the side of the road.I have never really hunted down in the 36's to much.But i just started alot this year.And I can see what you guys mean.Last weekend I took my grandfather down to 36A about 5 miles from Sasbee road.And we had a drug runner trying to hide in the tall grass from us.In 34A this January on the Santa Rita range I seen about 8 of them.I even saw two guys in camo.When i waved to them they didn't wave back and they weren't carring bows either.I felt a little uneasy.I talked to the border patrol out there and they recommened I start carrying a gun.BP told me they are having alot of drug runner problems in there from Elephant head north and west down to the pecan fields.They also told me that drug runners are starting to come over the pass in Madera Canyon which is some steep butt country.Anyways you guys take care out there.

I haven't had a chance to get out yet.But I'm all set for January.I have been out glassing as much as I could a few weeks ago.But all from the vehical I had my two year old daughter with me.I seen one fork and tons of does in 34A on the Madera Canyon side of the moutains.I'm planing on hunting down in 34B around the J-6 Ranch area.Last bow season I hunted it was like a safari down there.There's this Couse down there that decided to come down the hill right at me with a big tall rack stop at about 50 yards and turn broadside.As soon as I realesed he decided to duck and my arrow flew over him .But i saw three other couse bucks. And two hugh mulies down in the flats on the way out.I hope it's that way this year.Best of luck to everyone.

I love predeator calling.I have been back in Az for two weeks.And I have been out three times.I did ok the first time out. But it seems like there is one week out of the month I can't get them to come in no matter what I do.Last time out I was on the Santa Rita Expermental Range in 34A.And nothing, but I did get to see some deer one little fork and the rest were does.

I have checked into sponsering people on to Miltary bases to hunt with me.But from what I read I can only take up to four people to hunt with me and they can only hunt Coyotes,Rabbits and Birds.I'll be calling the sportsmans center on Fort Huchuca this week because I'm curious to see why that is.After reading that article I wonder why the Game and Fish just didn't net them and transfer them into a different moutain range or somewhere else in the unit.

Never mind already sold it.

Good size pigs there Ernesto C.I never hunted pigs,I see them all the time in the field but never took intrest. I noticed the huge amount of left overs this year so I think I'll give it a shot.Take care,and good job

Hey Bowhunt I recived the e-mail from AZ Game and Fish.Your right there is 5174 tags for pig 20 for turkey.I never hunted pig.But since I'll be back in AZ this week I'll probabley apply for one.Good Luck to all of you on the pig hunt coming up.

I agree with you there Pencillo.My grandfather before he past suddenly five years ago.He worked for the railroad,and lived in a little town by the name of Bowie which was about 30 minutes from there.He used to hunt unit 29 all the time.He killed alot of deer out of that unit with a bow and rifle.He used to take me hunting there when I was 13-14 years old.He used to know where the deer were all the time.But the last time I was there I didn't do so hot.But that was about 7 years ago.I used to hunt I belive around Turkey Creek.Kinda by the old cemetary.Or back over by this little general store and a bed and breakfast.I would like to eventually make back there.Bring back some old memories. Maybe I'll go this Bow Season. Take care,Scott

I used to think that deer would feed more at night if there was a full moon.But I read some where that the moon has no efect on them.

I think I have the CD with that guy your talking about Bill.He shot a coyote at 1100 yards.Antelope at 800 yards etc.But to answer your question I missed the last one I shot at about 300 yards in 30 mile an hour winds.But the closest one I ever shot was at 20 yards. Ashow I watched on hunting couse,said most of your shots on these deer will be between 250 and 300 yards.

Just crap to do things like this.My grandfather walked up on a guy in the field who was going to shoot a mule deer doe one time.And my grandfather pointed his rifle at the guy and told him "if you shoot that doe I'm going to shoot you".Needless to say my grandfather can't stand these types of things.He owns a house up in Overgard Az,and he says you can here rifle shots at night sometimes.And it just makes him sick because he knows some a$$hole is poaching an Elk or Deer.

I Just wanted to have a little feed back from anybody out there.Is hunting couse with a .223 sufficent and if so any recomended round that should be used for this caliber. Thnaks for any feed back, Scott
