yep just got done driving through some of the burned areas not as bad as it seems. Mostly just burned the undergrowth and grass. The area should recover well.

So I was super lucky and drew a unit 1 Archery tag. Not looking for any hunting spots or anything. What I am looking for is a good spot to take my trailer to do summer scouting and camping. I have a 36 foot bumper pull trailer. Need to find somewhere I can take the family and camp and learn the unit. Thanks for any advise.

no I use my trailer to much going to the lake and other places to leave it in one place. The forest is large if the place I picked is full I will find another that's why I plan on looking at as many spots as possible.

I was thinking Big Lake as well but wasnt sure that i could take a trailer that big up there.

I had the late cow hunt 5 years ago and it was a really tough hunt. We hunted for 6 days and only saw 3 elk the entire trip. When we went scouting they where every where. Good luck will be a tough hunt for sure. North of Seligman was where we heard a lot of the guys had success. We mostly hunted the the south east corner of the unit. If it has started to freeze they will be pushing down lower twords the kiabab in that corner but when we went it was really warm.

if you get the phaser eliminator than you won't have problems with them. just make sure you keep up on the normal maintenance and they are just as good as any other truck in the gas verity

I got the gun used a few years ago for my youngest to shoot he got a new gun now so this one is getting sold. Has shoot a few critters. In decent shape and actually shoots well for a cheap beginners gun. I also have brass and some barnes ttsx projectiles that I will sell with it if interested. $200 for the gun if you want everything we can make a deal. Also have a couple scopes that I can offer if interested.
