I had not heard of them either but in 2013, I shot one side by side with the Elite Answer. I took the Obsession Lethal Force 2 demo as is on the spot. It just fit me PERFECTLY. I almost upgraded to the Phoenix a few months ago but "if it aint broke.." You can read all the glowing reviews but my suggestion is to simply go shoot one. There is a dealer in Wickenburg if you are out that way. That's the thing, the only dealers are in Wickenburg and Holbrook. I'd love to try a few of their models out. According to the Obsession web site, theses guys are dealers too.. Never been there but they are pretty close to me. Could be wrong but.... Most distributors of any product have a minimum price they can advertise it for.. That doesn't necessarily prevent them from selling it for less so if you are interested in buying an item, speak up and someone will likely whisper a better deal to you. Just sayin... And of course, you wouldn't want to go blabbing on your FB page about who you got it from at such a discounted price. (Unless they gave you their blessing to do so)

Pretty funny. Some people have too much time on their hands. I actually like some of them. Drink them quite often. I don't toss em out the window however. Seems to me there are more legit issues to voice concerns over but oh well..

Nitto Terra Grapplers on my 4X4 have not let me down. Pretty quiet and wearing great. No vibrations to speak of. Have about 35K on them and I have put a lot of rugged use on them. (Unit 22) I fully expected to blow/tear/cut one on some of the trails I run. Have yet to pull the spare out. (Probably jinxing myself) The next set I buy will be the same. The reviews on the G2 have made me think I'll stay with the originals. (Not the G2)

.....to the guy I ran into coming off the top of a mountain in 44A who was chasing the same big deer I was the last week of archery season. I had my guys 100 yards from him and you couldn't see them or the bedded buck but you were headed right to them as you were headed back to your blue and white quad. You asked what I wanted you to do and then you simply bailed out over a different saddle so as not to bump the deer. Just wanted to say thank you and let you know it was greatly appreciated!

The guy was coming down while I was crossing over to another bowl to get a better vantage. I asked him if he had eyes on the buck and when he said no, I told him what was going on and he simply hopped over a little saddle and was out of the picture. Simple deal but it meant a lot..

Well I have to step in give the 100 gr, 4 blade muzzy a big thumbs up. I won't shoot anything else at a deer or larger. Not saying they are the best but when you are confident that your arrows are going where you want, at least for me, it's a huge confident boost and one less thing to worry about at the time I let it fly. I have my field points, broadheads and even swhackers shooting the same. (Swhackers are for pigs) I paper tune 1st, walk back tune 2nd, and then tune the broadheads. And without starting another distance/ethical thread, I am happy out to 100.. And I thought I saw a 1" @ 100 yard comment as well. If that's really an issue, I certainly have nothing to offer here..

Gnf can issue tags up to 60 days prior to the day they become valid. Not sure about retail stores though.

I just received a call from a very nice lady from G&F with an offer on one of my issues. The "lost" pig application. They offered me my choice of my 1st choice pig, refund of the application fee or a point. I took my 1st choice piggy tag. While she didn't have any information about my goofy bear tag or the status of my mailed in leftover pig tag, she did say I may be getting a follow up call regarding the pig, It's a step in the right direction. Glad they are getting it resolved. It sounds like she was just given the list of pig issues so hopefully the "bear" lady will call me next.

CouesFanatic, Your choices are not selected/drawn, your app is. If your app is drawn, they look at your 1st choice 1st, if no tags are left, then they look at your 2nd choice. At least that's how i understood it. If I'm wrong, someone please feel free to correct me.

Red Dog, check out the multiple threads here and several in the Javi forum regarding the spring draw. I won't regurgitate it all here but they had serious issues. Props to G&F on being courteous and getting it handled, at least in my case, but I have no clue if the root problem has been resolved.

How do you boil in a plastic Coke bottle without melting it? It's actually very simple. I also won a bet because the guy with me said it was impossible to do. I used bailing wire around the neck of the bottle and suspend it above a good fire/bed of coals. (Above the fire and not directly in the flames) Bring it to a boil slowly and then just barley boil it. The key is you need to keep the bottle topped off. The water in the bottle keeps the plastic at 212ish and below it's melting point. You also want to watch the wire so it doesn't get too hot since it's not being cooled. It can get too hot and melt through the plastic. Then it plops into the fire.. And after looking at the pic, it looks like a water bottle and not a Coke bottle.

I have the Adventurer, keep it in my pack and have used it one time. It seemed to do just fine as I never got sick. The water source was a steel cattle tank. I "purified" each batch twice as when you are swirling it around, I didn't want any untreated water from the rim or splashed water to mix in. I treated it, shook and swirled it, and treated again. Since it's electronic, I would suggest carrying tabs or some other method just in case. Way out in the desert is not the best place to be looking for batteries or spare parts. Prior to buying the pen, I had to boil water in a 20 oz plastic coke bottle. Surprisingly easy to do but very slow when your'e cleaning water for 2 thirsty people.

My leftover tag appeared in my portal late last week but still does not show up on their main site. Until I have a tag in my hand, which should be later next week, I'm not counting on anything.

That's the difference between the private sector and the government. They could appoint a "Wildlife czar." Bahahaha. But seriously, Stuff happens. I agree with a previous poster that mentioned that they actually confirm everything was completed properly prior to posting any results. However in that scenario, if this type of thing happened again, simply issuing bonus points to those left out would be a "resolution" while the problem would go unnoticed. It would be nice to see some response by G&F about what happened and some reassurances that it won't/can't happen again. It would be nice but not expecting it. And while the LO list hasn't been updated since the 1st, my mailed in LO tag shows up in my portal.
