I suggest you go shoot it before trading it in. If it has the .010 pins, you can actually pick a point on a deer at 100 rather than just covering the whole deer with a pin. Just my .02

I meant to buy a Havalon after the elk hunt I was on but just now did a little comparison and decided to give the Outdoor Edge Razor Pro a try @ 44.00. Never even heard of it before today. Thanks for the tip. (Unless it sucks. lol)

There is one hunter lower left just out of frame and 60 yards to the left, is another that had him at 18 yards for a few minutes while he beat up a tree. Pretty sure if they hit him, I would have never gotten this on film. A win in my book although the tag holders may disagree.

How would you score him?? I wouldn't want to cape that guy.

Except in hunt units with Commission-ordered special seasons under R12-4-115 and R12-4-120 and hunt units with seasons only for mountain lion and no other concurrent big game season, an individual shall not locate or assist in locating wildlife from or with the aid of an aircraft in a hunt unit with an open big game season. This restriction begins 48 hours before the opening of a big game season in a hunt unit and extends until the close of the big game season for that hunt unit.

I didn't read the whole story and only saw the comments related to a longer shot. Like I said, "if you can't shoot 80 yards, don't take an 80 yard shot." He was taking shots that were not clear so he should NOT have taken the shots. I have just grown tired of people slamming anyone taking shots over 40 yards and was too quick to chime in here. The responses were not really about long shots as I read them now. I'll leave it there since I can't fit both my feet in my mouth. Lesson learned on my part.

i will do my best. My buddy and 3 of his friends will be trying to prevent four bigguns from making it through in unit 10. I don't think my buddy can even sleep at this point.

I spend quite a bit of time in there. More time below but some up top and while I have never seen one, I have been told by one of the few people I believe that they saw one. I think it was two years ago..

I say shoot it! I sure would. But I have to say if I had 100 pamphlets indicating that road hunting is illegal, and handed them out to the people that drove by me 3 times or more in less than 30 minutes, I would have run out of them in units 27 and then in 7E... Simply ridiculous.

I was up in Denver doing some work on my Mom's house and a salesman in Home Depot asked about kitchen remodels. I was considering doing that so I had them come out and give me a bid. Bottom line is nothing fancy, no crazy designs and the price came in at 151.00/ft installed. I was shocked and disappointed. I also lost all confidence in their services offered and will never waste my time again. I know the "35.00/ft installed price" sign at the entry of every HD was a joke but really? I was curious about what others have paid for an "out the door" price for a good granite counter top. I thought 75.00/ft was the norm. They also quoted me 10K to reface 16 cabinets. I asked him why I would do that when I can have new decent cabinets installed for less. His response was that it would be faster than waiting 6 weeks for new cabinets to be built. So if you are in the market, I would not even waste my time with them.

Short answer is yes. Depending on set up and distance you may not need to worry about it. I would hope you would fling some after your trip up there to check your rig so at that point you will know. Good luck on your hunt.

I wonder if they are making some with anti-counterfiet measures. Last few times I was asked where I purchased it. WTF? Are we going to have to prove that we purchased it legally. Kinda pissed me off. Not good enough to have it, but now get questioned about its authenticity.

I can't imagine anyone posting an animal like that if it wasn't inside an enclosure. Don't even want to think about what it would cost to hang this guy on the wall.. (And no, not wanting to beat that dead horse again)
