Can you ID these two wonderful individuals in 7E?
Ohthatguy replied to Ohthatguy's topic in The Campfire
I would rather not get into specifics but I would really like to ID them. I can assure you, the law will not be involved. -
Do you want a Mulie or Coues? So your buddy lives in Payson? He should be a wealth of knowledge.

I had a theme button at the bottom of the page that loaded a different color theme. I'm guessing they are still working out the bugs.. A little patients should be rewarded, I think. Maybe. Hopefully..

Very good chance. The end of the video shows she likely is nursing a baby. But I have to say, she has the best poker face I've ever seen. She was feeding and preening the whole time. She also was technically leading us up the hill as opposed to following us up the hill. I have been around other doe that had a fawn bedded near by and they are usually staring me down the whole time and appear to be on pins and needles and NEVER at this close proximity. Not this girl.. Cool as a cucumber. lol I originally posted a link to the video but on the back of my buddies hat is the name of another site and without him in the frame, it's just a video of a deer. lol

Has anyone ever had a deer just hang out with you? We had a coues doe hang out with us for about 20 minutes. We walked up on her while she was browsing and she didn't mind at all. She then proceeded to walk up the hill with us. On at least 3 occasions, we were within 10 yards of her. She flagged once and trotted off but returned right away.

23 South has met the annual quota and after Wednesday is done for the year. That sucks.

Golfed Dinosaur Mtn last year at 2 in the afternoon when it was 118... It was awesome as we did not see a single golfer. The marshal checked on us a few times to see if we had died and the gal at the snack bar on the back side waited for us to get there. Then she left as nobody else was on the course.

If she is into crystals and comes out to the valley to visit, the Four Peaks Amethyst Mine does a visit/tour deal twice a year. They fly you up to the mine at the top of Four Peaks in a helicopter and you get to mine a few out of the walls and keep them. You can also pick up all you can carry from the ground in front of the mine. If she can climb a few stairs, she should be able to do it. Someone may need to chisel and pry the stones out of the wall for her but still pretty fun deal. Could make a pretty neat gift.

Yes, it's still closed and no, you can't go into the area "in any way." https://www.fs.usda.gov/Internet/FSE_DOCUMENTS/fseprd581315.pdf

If any crime was committed on the Res, it's the Feds that get to play. Get jail time for a DUI on the Res, you go to Federal Prison. Was all of his property returned? If not, I'll bet he's not happy yet.

Went to the Rim on Friday, stopped and got some crawlers at the Giant station in Payson. Got to the lake all ready to bait up a worm and........ Not a single worm in the tub. OOps..

It's closed!! Animals are gone! Nothing in there! Stay away... I checked all the closure maps yesterday and seemed to be open for travel but did have the fire restrictions in place. I was going to go myself.. lol Be aware though that portions of 22S are closed as of Thursday, 6/14.. Mt Ord, 4 peaks, etc

Yeppers. I don't believe they care one little bit about where the money comes from. It all spends the same. Correct me if I'm wrong but I thought Pete mentioned they were dropping the auction aspect in the newest proposal. (Even if he did, it sure doesn't mean it won't actually be in the proposal when presented)

Maybe when I get scared of my targets, I'll give it a shot.

Well I know one thing, I'm gonna start taking videos if I find blindfolded people out in the desert, shooting rabbits at 5' while singing and having someone else pull the trigger.

Does anyone know if these are available? I can't find anything on the GnF site. Thx,

Game & Fish Commission meeting webcam archives?
Ohthatguy replied to Ohthatguy's topic in The Campfire
Nope. They are one of the few government entities that doesn't seem to think it is important make them available. You either get it live, or you get the bare bones meeting minutes three months after the fact. It wouldn't be hard to have them archived on YouTube, so they must have their reasons. Well then, that leads to question #2. Would it be a problem to record it and post a link to it? I recorded some portions of it and actually found it quite interesting. Especially the vote at the end for the trail cams. "Motion, second, against, for, withdrawn.." Huh? It was a public meeting. Post it up. You're describing the motion process under Roberts Rules of Parliamentary Procedure. It sounds confusing in person, but there is a method to it. Sometimes the Commission itself has a hard time keeping it straight...one reason they have an attorney on hand. I understand the process and jargon but I thought they had three in favor and one against before it all fell apart. However after watching it again, maybe the second was not by Commissioner Ammons but rather by Commissioner Brake. Since Commissioner sparks was not present at the prior meeting which ended in a 2-2 vote, once he voted no, I guess they knew it was dead. -
