Says the guy who murders 2yr old bucks for a living đđ. If you spent half your time trying to stay relevant with comments like this, and far less time breaking the law, people might actually take you serious.

Nah, still around. Has anything new or groundbreaking been shared contrary to what Iâve said? I didnât think so, so why keep the thread going? You guys have way more time on your hands than I do. Especially the guy who pulled up the guides list and looked for my name to find my dog in the fight? đ Everyone got their panties in a bunch when someone (not just me) mentioned it was a hybrid. Now that thereâs FAR more evidence to support that, hopefully we can move on to the full story of how he went about killing it from the beginning (not some abbreviated description of the story pulled from an IG post by Duwane himself). Or that really sweet one that trphyhntr repeated from his âsourceâ. But letâs be real, that ainât happening either. Some people have made their mind up based on Duwanes reputation alone. Thatâs fine. After-all, good people never make really poor decisions in the moment, do they? My mind hasnât changed because a few guys on the internet who werenât there, or even bothered to ask a couple people who were, donât agree with me. đ

Still waiting for that âother side of the story.â

Speaking of dealing with dementia patients... Iâll repeat it ONCE AGAIN. Put your big boy ears on, okay? Duwane was never even going to go after the buck until they found out that A3 was requesting permits. Who knows, maybe Duwane didnât even know about the buck up until that point! If the buck was so special and worth the raffle tag, Colt, Shane, Duwane and Tol wouldâve been in there from the beginning. The fact that they werenât in there from the beginning and the ENTIRE time Ben was watching this buck leading up to the auction hunter even showing up doesnât sound strange to any of you?? Itâs obvious, people. Colt and Shane (and clearly Duwane) wouldâve rather seen Tol kill the deer than anyone else if Colt wasnât going to have a second chance at him. Which is Coltâs prerogative. I know some guides and outfitters who wouldnât touch this mess. This was a cluster from the beginning. They donât want the drama. If youâre an outfitter and you specifically go into an area ONLY because you found out another outfitter is chasing a big buck, youâre a douche. I donât care if youâre A3, mossback or Duwanes whatever guide service. As for the phone call. It was while Ben and the hunter were coming around to relocate the buck, not âgetting ready to shootâ. Why did he answer? Who knows, maybe Ben thought for a minute that heâd have a good, honest discussion on the phone with a fellow outfitter who was clearly going after the same deer? We know that didnât happen.

What does it matter who my source is? Change my mind! Once again, thanks for the warm and fuzzy stories of when Duwayne changed your tire, or when Duwayne rocked your baby to sleep. Or whatever. And spare me the âthose who donât succeed make up lots of stories to make up for their lack of successâ garbage. You just get back from a Tony Robbins seminar? Thatâs become the go-to response when snowflakes get offended or donât have anything significant to contribute.

Wrong. Metatarsals are, in fact, a definitive way of identifying a hybrid.
-
And thatâs the problem. Guys wonât even watch the video like you just did. Thank you

Correct, this is not a true 150â Coues whitetail deer. The drama is extremely dumb and couldâve easily been avoided. Spotter found the buck on the hill. Ben and the hunter were on the other side of the hill. Before Ben and the hunter could get around to the buck side of the hill, the buck had moved down in the flats. Coincidentally, about that same time Duwane and his hunter got there. Duwanes guide then picked up the buck in the flats. Boom. Dead hybrid.

The clear location and size of the metatarsal gland

Whatâs a high breed? Either way, the raffle tag buck recently killed and CLAIMING to be a Coues deer is a slap in the face to an actual Coues buck like that in your picture.
-
Whiner, hater, jealous... theyâre all just meaningless terms when someone doesnât have a solid argument. I borrowed my kids crayolas if youâre still needing that picture?

Lol. Read a book, buddy. Or spend about 3 minutes talking to an actual wildlife biologist. Jim Heffelfinger is a great resource on this. If youâre in the TUCSON area, swing in and talk to Jesse Lim at bull basin and have him tell you of his confirmed hybrid in the same class. You talk as if ârareâ means it doesnât happen. đđ. And youâre right, this is an exceptional HALF Coues buck.

100%, Iâm quite positive what Ben wouldâve done if the roles were reversed. Definitely not what Duwane did. Minus âproviding the hunterâ, there was very little A3 had to do with this hunt. Not your typical A3 hunt with 15 guys on every hillside. Just a couple of guys the finder (Ben) wanted there and the hunter. You ask how did Duwane just find that spot without knowing the buck was there? Did you not read anything I wrote?!? Of course he knew the buck was there! Like I said, and like Duwane himself said, âcolt gave Shane permissionâ to take the hunter in there. Thatâs how Duwane knew where to go. Since you seem to know Duwane super well, ask him his side of the story. Also, ask him why he wasnât hunting the buck from the very beginning if he knew it was there BEFORE A3 was requesting permits? As for your story. Ummm, thanks for the cool story but clearly that says something about his SIL, not necessarily Duwane. Once again, unless you have something else contrary to what Iâve said about THIS story, youâre just telling stories that make us feel all warm and fuzzy

Exceptional buck! After all, the end justifies the means, right?
