6.5 creedmoor, 338 lapua mag, are the calibers just wanting to get all the accuracy I can. Both are shooting 1/2 moa at 200-600 just thinking beyond that? Or is there a benefit to this? My case expansion is .0015 on the creedmoor so that seems good and .002 on .338 just trying to gain all I can i guess.

I live in Gilbert and work outdoors year around if you stay out of the sun and have a breeze or evaporative cooler blowing on you it is tollerable except for july and august. If you have a pool and swim when you get out it is cold not like east coast where you stay wet. The water evaporates so fast you get a cold feeling from it. I,m a native so this is all i know.I have seen temps in flagstaff of -18 on a elk hunt and worn shorts when deer hunting in october.

I was in the same boat and looking for h4350 powder and it is hard to find. I,m using superformance hornady powder and it is NOT a temp stable powder but i do like that it gained 75 fps out of a 20 inch barrel over h4350. I hope it does not change too much with temp. If i find h4350 i will buy it and work up a load with it also.

Move close to where you will work.

I was at rio salado and had a crosswind yesterday afternoon testing jump n one gun and annealed brass on the other just noticed a poi change on my mag of 1 Moa at 200 part may have been the wind the groups were a little larger also. The other gun I was shooting and testing bullet jump and two different bullets and I learned it was good before I messed with it.

I have never annealed before but have a point of impact change of about 1 Moa. Groups did not tighten at all they may have opened up a little. Do I need to redo my load?

I usually will spend a hour plus in what I feel is a productive spot if I can glass a good distance. I always use a tripod and chair and go slow as I can stand for deer trying to pick out the small stuff. I will move if I feel I can be more productive elsewhere. I may also change angles and look over the same area again if I feel I,m missing the one I,m looking for. Animals may move in and out any time of day and you need to catch them and not blow them out of an area.

Why not use that money and import a few of us hunters for a short time to cull a few out.

Yes I glassed one up last weekend and antlers were branching but small. If I have a chance with archery I think I would take it!
