Maui Jim exclusively for 20 years. They are the only ones I can wear all day and not get a screaming headache that I have found so far.

All the power you can get with out being a diesel. Drive all the american makes and see what fit you best. I cannot sit in any of the 3/4 ton dodge trucks with out feeling uncomfortable in the seats. On long trips this may be a problem. There were better options for my seat.

I gotmy tax stamps and two supressors for my rifles I have gone out and reset zero and shot groups it seems to me that the rifles and loads have tightened up. Is this normal with suppressors?

Always One To Tinker... .300RUM w. 230 Hybrids?
Tac replied to lancetkenyon's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
those magnums ring your bell after a few shots it seems that my focus in my eyes deteriorates. -
got a harvestor big bore for my 338 lapua, and a hybrid for my 6.5 creedmore and other weapons. It is so nice to go out and shoot and the report of the gong is louder than the rifle.

if you leave a few dead bodies near your cameras it may deter further theft.

I sure like my big muzzle brake on my armalite .338 lapua it reduces recoil to where grandma loves to shot it. It makes recoil similar to .243 or less.

I shot pretty sorry should have made a few trips and verified at 200 my zero changed a lot from 100-200 with suppressor -
I own my auto repair shop and worked for a ford dealer for 17.5 years. This sounds like it could have a few problems. What is the base oil pressure when hot at idle In gear? They have oil pump volume problems and need at least 16-18 psi at idle to keep the cams In position. They also could have a plugged port or valve body problem on the cylinder head it has a control valve as well as the electronic solenoid that can have problems. With attempted repairs having been performed I would reccomend a ford reman engine it will give you the best warranty and piece of mind. Ford reman engine comes with a 3 year warranty.

I just put mine in the mail box. Embarrassing how bad I did. If I could get another set I,m sure I could screw up shooting them too -

Factory 300 Win Mag. Who has the best?
Tac replied to Chris's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
Sako,Tikka and Remington are all in my safe and I have no complaints on the ones I currently have. I did have a remington 7400 30/06 that was miserable to shoot and group 6 inches at 200 yards. I glad it found a new home. -
have a barrel threaded for supressor?
Tac replied to Tac's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
yes metric 16-1.0 I have disassemble and having cut, crowned and threaded to 5/8 -
It Looks like I,m going to have the barrel of my .338 lapua thread changed. I assume they have to cut and rethread the barrel. It currently has 16x1 threads and we will probably go to 5/8 24 and have barrel recrown then I can install a suppresor. What am I missing in my understanding of this operation?
