Ended up getting the Maven RF1. Like it so far. The knob is a little weird on the side but nice for changing settings. Very clear glass and ranges way out there

Anybody seen a primer do this? Looks like two little pin holes at the 5 and 7 oclock position where gas escaped past the primer. Heavy bolt lift and ejector mark at the 12 o clock

Good to know, wouldnt have figured it was that sensitive. I probably should get some nicer calipers. Will check when im home from work. I appreciate the info -

Do you mean 8 thou? (.008”) 8 tenths is so small my calipers probably wont measure that accurately. I did not wet tumble. Max load on this is 42.9 C my COL keeps this load from being compressed -

260rem, IMR4350, 41.5gr, 143gr eldx, I might have been into the lands. I just re checked and I only had a .005” jump on the few that were still loaded. Theres a chance that one was seated long -

I did, unfortunately I cant remember now if it errored on that one or velocity was inline with the others. All the loads that read were on par with one another -

I will go back and double check, but should be same headstamp, dont think it pitted the bolt face, and I am using a frankford intellidropper, which has been pretty consistent. Maybe that case had more somehow. -

Would a pinholes primer also exhibit false over pressure symptoms? The other loads of the same charge and primers did not show pressure signs. -

They are winchester primers. Older ones from the condition of the box and logo -

Yes, they seem to show some signs of exposure to moisture. Figured either they will go off or not. But would not see an increase in pressure
