Good advice all around. I think I am going to keep an eye out and wait until a nicer used gun pops up instead of going new turkish made. Not in any hurry so I will just keep looking. Thanks for all the suggestions

I was checking to make sure my loads would cycle and I could feel a kind of washboard vibration when feeding. This is on a browning x bolt hells canyon speed. The second picture are 168gr the first a 150. The 168gr have a secant ogive while the 150 is a tangent. The marks on the 168 are more substantial, can feel your fingernail catch on them when you run it across. Is this going to affect my accuracy or will it be negligible? Is there a way to remedy this? It looks to be from the ramp feeding into the chamber

I am not currently, the goal would be to shoot 500. What makes those bullets 500yrd capable or not?

I hit it with a small piece of sandpaper and it seemed to remedy the issue, will check with a few different bullets.

The magazine is their rotary mag, it doesnt contact the magazine around the bullet, I can see the spot it occurs. See picture, not sure what tool id use to get in there, it is cerakoted currently if that matters?

Ive never heard of 7/8 oz 12 gauge loads, are they hard to find?

The affinity elite upland looks awesome! I was going to go that route but auto loaders werent my thing, after shooting a few I decided I didnt like the way they feel when they cycle. That goes for all of them, not just the franchi.

My main gun now is a winchester 1200 with a 31” barrel, full choke. I think a 28” O/U will be what I go after, still not sure 20 vs 12. Hunted this weekend with a 20ga 26” 870 express and did pretty good with quail. The less recoil is nice but thinking the added range and wider spread might be nice with the 12. Especially if I decide to use it for dove also. Im not in a rush to buy so I think I will keep an eye out for a model you mentioned above.
