This was my first gun as a kid. Still have it.

Yeah, I don't know if its just me but I have never shot maxi balls well out of my rifle.

First time I went was about 5 years ago. Tons of knowledgeable and friendly people. I do compete in different shooting events, this one by far is my favorite.

Great topic. I have a traditional great plains. Its the hunter version with a 1/32 twist. Anyone know any good loads for that twist? I have really only used round balls for hunting with it.

Paper and hand delivered every time. Can't have people screwing up something this important.

Any luck so far. I got a buddy who wants to get one this year. I usually hunt 37a but we moved to Sierra Vista and 34a is in between my buddy and myself. Gonna get our left over tags tomorrow.

I glassed these 2 bears up the other day. I was wondering what yall thought. I was thinking about going after the black one. He seemed bigger. The cinnamon had some nice scars on his face. This would be my first bear and its gonna be quite a hike getting them out.

I was bit on my hand by a squirrel when i was little. That things flopped around like a rag doll when i was trying to shake it off.

They were in different locations, quite a ways apart. Im more familiar with the area with the dark bear and more confident in finding him again. Ill post more pictures if i find em again.

Borh were about 5 miles from any roads. But i was a few hundred yards for the pics.

Found this one next to my game cam but missed him. Close to 6 inches. Next time Ill put something next to it for context.
