Just saw these boys in Sierra Vista. Thanks for your service gentlemen.

I'd call before you go to make sure they have what you're looking for. Bull Basin has crispis, but their selection is limited.

Small pistol primers trade for retumbo Sold Trade complete
zackcarp replied to Pheasant hunter's topic in Classified Ads
You guys are trading gold for gold! -
Get a list of stuff you need and keep an eye out for deals. Buy stuff little by little. Like said above, if its 9mm, 223, or the heavy magnums, good luck finding supplies right now. I reload for 708 and 338LM. I can reload 708 all day. But I cant find my powder for 338. Everything depends on what you're looking for.

Vortex's Lifetime Transferable Warranty Is The Real Deal...
zackcarp replied to eddielasvegas's topic in The Campfire
I've never had my vortex fail me in the field. Has it broke, yes. But half the time they send me a brand new product. If I paid the same price I would for swaros etc, then yes I would be upset. But i don't, so I love em. -
We bought these back in 2013. 4 serving per package. We've eaten a few over the years. They take longer to cook than MH. I eat MH on the trail and Wise if I'm truck camped.

This 100%. Tourniquets save lives. You never know when it'll be yours, a family members or a random persons.

I have the 1800, its hit and miss on objects passed 1500 yards. When it uses the calculated angles setting, it doesn't seem to reach targets past 900 yards. I have ranged objects out to 2400. Just depends on lighting and such.

These will be gone by the end of the night.

Phillyphan, I sent you a message.

A coworker runs the pintler and loves it.

I think I've decided on the same bullet out of my great plains hunter. Just over an inch at 100 with iron sights.

I've had camelpacks, badland sacrifice, and mystery ranch beartooth. I like the camelpacks for scouting trips, very comfortable under lightweight. The sacrifice was my go to for a while. But under a load it just wasn't comfortable. I bought the mystery ranch last year and love it. Only downside is its a heavy pack, but when you have a lot of gear in it, its a Cadillac. Hunting mule deer last year I converted a friend from kifaru to mystery ranch in one day. He got the Marshall and loves it. I plan on getting another pack soon for the wife/kids/day pack, and it'll be a mystery ranch sawtooth. A coworker of mine swears by kuiu, I like their stuff too, I just don't know if I want to venture into that arena.

I didn't think people said "grip" anymore.

Awesome write up! I love reading these stories of the highs and lows. Congrats to you guys! P.S. How many rifles did you guys take? Seems like every stalk had a different rifle.

I still think this guy is bc777.

Welcome, which unit did you draw for your muzzy?

Reloading powder is hard to find too. I haven't seen Retumbo in over a year. I'm on my last pound.
-
Have any of you guys had luck with the powerbelt lines? I just ordered some 338 gr platinums to try out.

Picked up a limited entry muzzy tag, I had a few questions for someone thats hunted it before. Mostly regarding water, hunting pressure, and elk habitat. Thanks.
