I got a left over archery Elk tag for Coon Canyon and Flat Top in November. This is my first elk hunt and I am looking for any current advice on the area and tactics. Thanks everyone!

Sorry, been a busy fall season. No, I glassed them up and chased them nearly every day, but the wind and thermals worked against me. I managed to stumble into a herd twice when I wasn't expecting it and wasn't ready until they were over the next ridge. Had a great time though.
