Came across this guy yesterday while out shed hunting. Looks like he was trying to jump this fence to get to a waterhole and back leg didn't make it. Horrible way to go.

Six hours of hiking with nothing then I snagged these three sheds in the last hour on the way back to the car. Two are seven pounds and one is eight. Great day for sure.

Send me coordinates I'll help locate the other side. Awesome find!

I got out to one of my higher elevation spots yesterday and scored this set. I've picked up sheds in this exact spot three years in a row now. I saw a red Chevy driving back to PHX with a huge CouesWhitetail.com window sticker and a frame pack in the bed. Hope you got some sheds bro.

What state/area are you in? Lots of browns being pulled in S.NM right now. It's weird, a couple weeks ago in an area just a few miles from where we were sunday, we found that right side and saw about 30 to 40 bulls and I'd say about 40% to 50% were dropped. Then where we were sunday, we saw around 15 bulls and even the two that were close to 300 were still packing. Yeah, it is middle of the drop right now. I am eager to get out and get early browns but April and May seem to produce the best.

I got out yesterday. It was either six inches of wet snow or six inches of mud. I don't think I've ever seen this much water coming off the rim. Pretty miserable slog of a hike. They may be dropping soon but it is going to be hard hiking until we dry out which looks to be a few weeks off barring any more big storms.

He's paying 12.50 for brown, I think 8 for hard white.

Here you go: 16 lb each side. Pulled by Prime Tine Outdoors in S. NM a few days ago. Heaviest set he's ever found.

Not much action in this forum the last month or so. Anyone still out looking for bone? I think I am about to call it for the season, vegetation is really starting to fill in.

Did some scouting today. No elk but I found their sheds! This area consistently produces.

Still finding them but man it is getting tough. Found a nice freak shed on a fence line today.

I found all my best ones in June last year but they were hard earned in the heat.
