If technology fails can you still make the shot?
cjl2010 replied to 300RUM's topic in Long Range Shooting
EL's are always on a tripod and I always lean against my tripod/binos with Leica and get the same yardage plus or minus a few. I did notice on wife's deer hunt that buck fever makes it hard to get a yardage when you are hand holding a small range finder. -
I thought the chart was only for the holdover option? Could be wrong

Maybe he was fishing

That's why I traded the spotter for dads EL range binos. We double check every yardage I get with the 1600 Leica with his binos and so far so good -
I'm glad the 12s vs 15s discussion is here again, tough decision.

Just checked up on my build at my gunsmiths house and he had another gun sitting there with an AMG on it. Guess there's a couple out there.

How much effort would you put forth to help someone like this?

Behind punkin center always seems to hold a lot of rabbits

I leave em in the case. My pack is big though so space isn't a concern.

Yup had a camera. But came in like he always did and freshened it up. I always piss out of my tree stand. Never had it bother anything

I used to pee in scrapes. Never seemed to bother them

Colburn and Scott strike again...Oh yeah I'm sure they spent the bulk of the time hunting this ram... Bulshite. Jay would step on his Mom to take a pic with this ram! Pretty harsh words to toss out there. Jay never struck me as a man of this character. I think this deserves an explanation.

Optics4rent. Todd is a great man. I believe he is a site sponsor

I contacted them outside of my 30 day warranty for a physical blemish. I requested 20% back, and within 3 hours my request was fulfilled so take that 30 day warranty with a grain of salt.. Good to hear. I'm no yeti fan boy either mine was a gift. Picked up a grizzly because of significant saving over a yeti.

The one problem with rtic is the 30 day warranty

If you use them as a beer cooler the ice will last as long as any other ice chest with it being constantly open. I think where they shine is durability. Every year we replaced broken latches and hinges on our colemans. Yeti has been in the bed of my truck and ranger for 4 years now and gets beat up pretty regular and still looks new minus a few bruises. Plus I'm short and use it a lot as a ladder.

Yeti 45 and grizzly 150 here. Better have a buddy there if you wanna move the 150 when it's loaded. Both make great benches, chairs, step ladders, and shooting bench.
