Im aware there is a lot of guys out there that dont reload and dont want to deal with the hassle of someone building them a load. I cleaned the rifle this morning and bought a $40 box of Hornady precision hunter ammo loaded with 143 eldx. Took a few sighter shots and watched the groups shrink as it fouled in. First group in center bullseye is just over 1 1/4, 2nd group on top left is 3/4, last group on bottom left is just over 1/2.

I agree. Just wondered if there was any other reason you stayed away from head stamped alpha. With everything you load for I didnt know if you used it and thought it was junk.

They are 2013 model. No scratches on lens. Always kept in soft case with lens protectors on. Have original box and paperwork with neck strap. They will come with outdoorsmans stud. Ive got a gamescout stock and with a 50mm scope Ive got to where I cant stand it for shooting prone, which is about the only way I ever shoot. Any recommendations out there for stock packs that I can shim that will allow me to hold a spare magazine in as well? Preferably as light as possible. Thanks

They will replace a scratched lens but there is a charge. When I bought my 10x50s from a guy he replaced one lens and I believe it was $50. Ill see if I can find the receipt. To be honest guys your best bet is to call/email there customer service. Super easy to talk with and they are really fast at responding. I lost my objective cover for my spotting scope and in 3 days I had a new one free of charge.

They call you before they do any work that isnt covered under warranty. There is no charge to send them into be cleaned and inspected.

Thats whats frustrating with gas trucks. I want to sell my diesel so bad and buy a tundra until I hear stories like this.

Quite a few months ago I drank an extra beer and ordered a 9.5 twist .308 carbon barrel blank from hells canyon armory. Barrel should be here in a month or so but Ive wondered if I should sell it and go to a #4 contour, .670, steel barrel and put the extra money towards a trigger. Anybody have a 30 cal magnum on a #4, bartlein #3, contour barrel? Would fluting it be worth the money for weight savings? More than likely it will be a switch barrel with a 6mm creed or 6.5 sst. Thanks for the opinions.

Bighorn has a wrench for it so a barrel vise and wrench and your good to go. I wouldnt need it to be changeable in the field

I sent my spotter in and they received on Jan 5th. They shipped it back to me feb 6th. That was a cleaning on the body and a repair on the eyepiece.
