I want to sell just because I don't like it as much as my other carry pistol. It mostly just sits around. I'm not interested in trades at the moment.

The finish on these guns are absolutely amazing. I agree that the actions are phenomenally smooth as well.

Definitely will send ya a pm, if I'm drawn.

Lol, thanks. I didn't even realize how easy it would to poke fun at my title until now.

You guys are awesome. Thank you very much.

I would also like to state that I would love for someone to show me the ropes of elk hunting. If someone is so kind I would be in your debt.

Hey guys I just bought two savage package rifles with the Nikon scopes on them. I'm a milradian FFP guy so these are not my cup of tea. These are the older style Pro Staffs (Pro Staff isn't written on them though). Both have the rings that will stay on them. Glass is acceptional for the price point. There won't be a box with them but all paperwork and warranty info will be. I'll have these on multiple forums, first come first serve. They are new, as I took them immediately off the guns. 1. Nikon 3-9x40 BDC Reticle-on the left in picture-asking $120 obo 2. Nikon 3-9x40 BDC Active Target Reticle-on right in picture-asking $175 obo

223 redding dies, bushings, brass, powder, ammo
Savageman25 replied to Savageman25's topic in Classified Ads
All sold. Thank you -
Bought all this stuff but sold the gun so no need for it now. Brand new never used 223 competition neck sizing die set. I also have new size 245 and 246 titanium nitride neck sizing bushings that can be sold with the set. Will sell them all together for 240 or obo. I'll also throw in 77 pieces of once fired brass deprimed and wet tumbled. Will sell die set alone for 220 or obo Will sell each bushing individually for 20 each or obo I have 5 boxes of hornady vmax 55gr 223 ammo. Another 29 rounds of 55 gr vmax ammo that was manufactured with new brass I bought at a gun show from an ammo manufacturer. I have shot some of it and it shoots just like the hornady manufactured ammo. Asking 100 for all ammo or Obo Have one unopened 1lbs of benchmark powder for sale. $25 Shoot me a reasonable offer for it all and I will let it go for much lower than it would cost at full price. Total if you were buying this stuff new would put you around $415 plus all the tax or shipping depending on where you bought it from. Great way to get a precision loading setup.

How long is powder good for?
Savageman25 replied to joelpresmyk8's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
I talked to the hodgdon rep at the nra convention last year and he said as long as you keep it at a constant temperature it'll last darn near forever. I can not recall exact temps, but it was somewhere along the lines of between 80 and 40. Of course a dark place is good and I think cooler would be better but he stressed temp swings being the worst thing for it. I think my ideal storage is an old fridge turned up to about 50 or 60. Anyone have an old fridge they don't use anymore? Lol -
If the price difference isn't around 40 cents or more than don't bother. You get less mpg. If e85 is more than 40 cents cheaper then it's benificial.

Hello everyone. I just moved down to Prescott, AZ. I was sent to this site from another forum. I posted in the other forum asking if anyone would be kind enough to teach me how to hunt. I most want to hunt elk and coyote but im not limiting it to only that. I have moved here from Indiana and am attending school to fly helicopters. Im not sure if we are allowed to post links but if you look up a long range hunting website you can see my post in the west states section. That post tells you a little about myself. Anyone out there who wouldn't mind a person tagging along with you for some hunting and teaching me a thing or two I would greatful ly appreciate it. You would be dealing with a blank canvas, I know nothing of hunting in general. I am however very familiar with firearms and I am very safe.

You guys have been a huge help. Many people have showed interest in helping me and I am in there debt. I believe I have made some good connections to get off on the right foot. I appreciate you all very much. Hope to cross paths with many of you on my journey of hunting/learning to hunt.

I want to reload, I need advice....
Savageman25 replied to ctracingraptor's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
Read the ABC's of reloading. Very good book to start off. You can get it on amazon pretty cheap. I would say if you truly believe your going to end up getting a progressive press sometime, just go ahead and get one. Start slow and just run one around at a time at first. This is just how I did it and I'm not regretting it at all. I then bought a Forster coax press then a couple lee's to do odd jobs. I'm kinda in love with reloading, now I want a redding t-7 another Forster and another progressive. I have a disease. If I were you I would look at the new RCBS progressive presses they are coming out with. You can get a 5 stage press and then convert it to a 7 stage later if you wanted. It very well may be my next press. List of musts to start loading (this will get you started) Press (depending on what press you'll need shellplates or shell-holders) Dies Scale Powder measure Caliper Reloading manual (a few if you can) -
I was expecting a reply like this sometime. It doesn't bother me at all because I know what I'm asking for. It's not free stuff and it's not to encroach into someone's hunting spots. Its simply guidance on how to hunt. Knowledge that I can use for the rest of my life no matter where I may live or go in life. Thanks so much for your invite. If I can manage a trip like that to N.M. I will definitely look into it. For right now I am trying to learn locally, and maybe at a later time I could meet up with you sir.

Thanks for all the feedback guys. I truly do appreciate it greatly. The guys over at the other site were right on in sending me over here. Seems like a great place to learn and connect with you fine people. Btw, I don't own a bow.....yet
