I'm in the same boat as you yotebuster, my dad can't hike very far anymore either and doesn't hunt anymore because of it , so i would like to find something easier for him one day....

It was clear on Christmas eve around 5pm , very little snow on some of the shoulders in the shade.

I run truck tires on my lighter trailers, usually as long as your load rating isn't too heavy , which with a single axle you will be fine. Plus you we get the higher speed rating. While no you probably won't be running 90 with a trailer but most of the small trailer tires are speed rated at 55..... that's the main reason you see people with blown tires on trailers, usually not a pressure issue. Food for thought.

Ya , we just put a muzzle brake on my friends daughters .243 as well because she didn't like the recoil either. Not a lot of choices for kids to take a big game animal with, if they are small in stature. Put a brake on it Casey.... or a can.

Well, I had a really hard time trying to find one for my daughter. I ended up going into Sportsmans Warehouse and purchasing one from a store out of state and had it shipped here to an Arizona location. It got here fairly quickly. Not sure if you have a Sportsmans Warehouse there or not. I ended up getting her a Ruger American Predator in 6.5 CM. We have been very happy with these guns, my boy has one too.

Plus 1 for Lowa , also at Ross outdoors to try on. For short or very warm weather, I like my merrells their thread looks like a mountain bikes tire. I think it does boil down to personal preference, but all great boots listed so far.

This ⬆️..... it might cost more up front, but you won't gum up carbs from sitting and save the money rebuilding them later. I run it in my generator too. Zero issues.

Both my kids have a Ruger American predator rifles in 6.5 creedmoore. My daughter needed a lefty and I'm waiting for the muzzle brake to get here so I can screw it on then, hers is ready to go.
