I haven't watched pro sports in a long time either and I really don't even know why we still need them anymore aways.... such a waste of money and they think they are so important. Who cares they all can ead... I'm done with all sport , baseball and hockey were the only ones I could even stand to watch some of. Fire them all non American wastes of skin... they won't get a penny of my money ever again or air time.

Both of my kids shoot a 6.5 CM in a ruger American predator with brake and has very little recoil. I have found that the dpms .308 brake works really well and is a good bang for its buck.

I recommend what dug said , my boy started on a semi auto youth Tristar. One shell at a time in the beginning. Very light and has very little recoil in the autos. No issues with ours yet either.
