This could very well be to see where the state stands and what it would take to get this BS to pass. The bigger issue is this isn't going to stop. They are relentless and will keep going. If pro 2A just sits on their hands, eventually, it will get through.

I believe it's also trying to stop the transfer of ownership to kids/dependents. Once you die, they would have to be destroyed if I heard it correctly.

He doesn't have to get elected to cause issues. He's been dumping money in states, like az, to try to flip them. He's been putting money into states to help pass gun control. People may not be big on voting, but some of the most important things you can do are to vote locally within your state.
