I've taken most my elk with slick tricks but my last one was with a rage. I have now switched to rage trypans because of the thicker blades. Unbelievable blood trails for the short walks they have after the shot.

I was going to try the spring replacement on the Tikka and see how that goes. Read a lot of good things about it. Not a lot of aftermarket options with Tikkas that aren't crazy expensive. Like 450 dollars expensive. Timney only makes a 2 stage for it. Not really sure I would care for one on my hunting rifle?

Yep, everyone's experience is different. My experience was horrible with Dodge. Our last two vehicles have been Toyota and I do the basic maintenance to them and they just keep going. They hold their value. Lots of my family own Toyotas and nobody had had issues with them. My in laws have had well over 300,000 miles on some of them and they run and run. Nothing but positives for them with us. Isn't it great to have so many options!? My son still drives the 01 Ford. Almost 300,000 on it. Had to replace the tranny, and some alternators, starters but that's been about it. Been a good truck for the most part.

Any 2015 truck will tow better then a 2001. More horses, better trannys with more gears, better suspension. More features all around. But my 2001 Ford that had a few things done to it towed a trailer up camp Verde hill doing 75 without dropping any RPMs.

Owned one Dodge in my life. Best thing about it, that I was able to get a couple thousand more for it then that thing was worth when I traded it in. Won't ever buy Dodge again. Started burning oil at 125,000ish miles. Bunch of knobs inside started breaking. Hear great things about the Cummins motor though.

I just purchased one a few months back. It carries weight better then my kuiu pack and I really liked my kuiu. The only thing they lack are pockets but are great packs.

I am hispanic and feel the exact same way. I think illegals need to go back and get in line if they want to come here. Not fair that people that work their butt off to become citizens have people that cheat and become a burden on our tax dollars. But I don't appreciate coming on a hunting website and reading racial slurs. Hate how people loose at the lip behind a keyboard.
