Here is my take for what its worth, I have the 15's and the 10x42 el, on the 15's i dont really like em too much just not enough light transmission, however on my 10's they work decently enough that I do carry it with me as a weight saver. Gives me a 20 power spotting scope anyway. Ron

Was fortunate enough to arrow this guy last Monday afternoon. I spied him sleeping in his bed and was able to put the sneek on him getting to 39 yards. The shot was a little tough as his antler was covering part of his vital zone so had to shoot under it a bit to make the shot work. All those hours of shooting paid off as the first arrow was a good hit just a little back of where I wanted it, the bull then raised his head exposing his full shoulder and lung area. I put the second arrow right on the money, double lung. He went about 30 yards and expired within sight. Very , very exciting to be able to get this bull in his bedding area, thx for looking.

Hey Regan, I hunted over there in 2004 had a black powder deer tag. Wasnt able to bag one but did see a bunch of muley's and some coues deer as well as a few bears. That will be a fun hunt, good luck. -
As usual great story Tracy. Wish I could have been there the 2nd day and seen Jackson do his thing. That is a monster pig congrats to the young hunter, may there be many more. Ron

I was fortunate enough to take this Javalina last Thursday with a longbow. This was a cumulation of the last 3 seasons of trying to take one by traditional methods. This pig was taken with a 60lb Bear Montana longbow and Beman MFX arrows with a 200 grain Muzzy Phantom broadhead. The shot was apx 18 yards entrance was just behind the left shoulder and exited on the right shoulder, being a complete pass through. The pig ran about 35-40 yards after the shot and expired. Thanks for looking. Ron
