This is a brand new scope from Bushnell to replace a Weaver tactical I had sent in for repair. It has never been mounted. This is a 6x24x50 FFP Illuminated with Mil-dot reticle and .01 mil adjustments. I looked around and cheapest I could fine was on Amazon for nine hundred fourty five dollars. This is the same scope here https://www.bushnell.com/Products/Riflescopes/Tac-Optics/6-24x50/?sku=BT6245FG . I have 2 of these on other rifles and they are great scopes. I am asking $800 would like to meet face to face if possible but will ship for extra if necessary.

Great scope here, $825...make offer. Would maybe trade for a Ruger 1911 commander.

Up for weekend, now $825. This is really a good scope folks. Tracks very well, clear and returns to zero without fail. If I had a rifle to put it on I would keep it.

I live in Dewey, commute 3 days a week to valley for work, been doing it for 4 years. Wish I had moved up here 20 years ago. Love the weather and the small town/country type living. Takes me about 1 hour to i17 and 101. Ron

Arrow speed and long range shooting
ibowhuntaz replied to Pac8541's topic in Bows, arrows, broadheads
How far do you want to shoot and what speed are you at right now? I would think if you are talking 80-100 yds you would still be more than fine with a heavy arrow. There used to be an arrow speed calculator on a website that would give you speeds and kinetic/momentum at all ranges when you input your data. Cant remember what its called but maybe someone else will know. Ron -
Ok so you will need to look at a good ballistic program. Get your info regarding bullet drop at all yardages you are interested in. From there you need to know how many clicks are necessary at those yardages. For instance at 100 yds you know that 4 clicks equal 1 inch for MOA, it changes at 200, 300 etc. Once you have these two things you can start to understand how to dial in your scope at different yardages. Or just get something like shooter and it will tell you all you need to know. Up and down is easy, wind at least for me is the hard part. Ron

Is your scope MOA or MIL? With your 200 yard zero you will need to know your bullet drop at 300 yards then dial in the proper clicks needed to compensate for the drop. For instance if your drop is 8 inches you will need apx 8 clicks on a MIL type scope to hold dead on at 300 yards.

I have used the factory Hornady ammo 143 eldx in my Ruger American, shoots 1/2 inch groups if I am able to do my part. Very happy with it so far. The eldm also shot excellent groups. This is from the 6.5 creedmore. Ron
