Howdy Everyone... Im a bit new here... first post.. but definately wont be my last.. I am a regular on AZSJ, so I assure you I am no E-Scouter. I have been scouting allot for deer this year because I got skunked on the draw.. I now have my OTC tag and Im ready to rock!! Work even gave me friday the 1st off.. yipeeeeeee!! Just wanted to introduce myself and hopefully have some pics to share of my hunt.

I went to set up my wildview... come to find out that my batteries were toast! ARGGGGGGG!!! I will set up 2 cams in this general area this weekend.. By the way, I am heading up towards your area Sept 10-12th. I will be camping near big lake area. Hopefully I will tag out on a turkey while im deer hunting.

Hey Jdavid.. Great to see you here! I hope to get some good info on coues here.. I think I have found the right place. The more I scout & study these little guys the more I fall in love with them. As for the salt.. about 2 weeks ago, I dumped about 40lbs.. and packed in about 5gallons of water to soak it. The area looked great.. with several shooting lanes available.. I set up several blinds up & down wind. Lots of tracks and sign in this area so I hoping to see a few bucks. On my way in to the area where I set up the salt I slipped a couple of times and gashed open some nice freshies on both my legs.. Oh well.. you live & learn.. Next time I will do the salt first then come back for the water.
