Absolutely. Thank you ADA. Can't wait to meet everyone. This is very important to our youth. Teaching kids and parents not to hunt but hunt the right way goes a long way. We will be checking in as much as we can. We have 2 tags to fill and if we fill them early as we have in the past we will help in any way we can.

Just a thought. If he is not scared of heights. Send him to Yavapai lineman school. It is 1 year long and the electric utility companies hire from that school. I'm in that business and if he got a lineman apprenticeship he would be set if he is interested in that line of work.

It's a neat hunt. We have noticed the mule deer bucks are in bachelor groups still. Also some are still in velvet and some are hard horned. What an amazing tag for a youth.

My kids have had the tag twice. They are 100 percent success with 4 mule deer with 1 buck over 150 and a 162 2 years ago. It's an awesome hunt. Oh yeah they both got it again this year. We are super excited. I will be around young. Pm me if you need help.

.243 is what my kids still shoot today unless they are chasing elk. Other than that I would recommend a .270 or a 7mm 08.

I've called a lot of mule deer in with a fawn in distress call. Especially in January archery. I've had does come real close and if a rutting buck is with her it could present a very good opportunity to arrow a nice one.

Thought I got 12a west but very happy still. Got 2nd choice unit 23 November mule deer and the kids got 3 youth 23 tags as well.
