This is probably really well known here, but I have been taking my kids to McQueen Park in Gilbert and catching some great catfish on crickets from our backyard. Also got a decent amure.

no hogs in AZ, I presume?

story? I assume you didn't order it from Amazon prime.

Thanks for the recommendation. I Googled Noah. Here is his number, I think: 1-928-978-3870

totally lame. wow.

I was up near the Rim on Saturday and still heard bugling. How much time left in the rut, do we think?

bummed to hear about the "hunter" who interrupted your stalk. That's a true trophy you have there.

what a monster bull. Even better to share this with your son. I can't wait for my boys to be old enough to mow the lawn....and hunt.

holy moly, that's a beaut.

I am sure many of you have thought of this, but anyone tried to field dress an elk with a cordless reciprocating saw (sawzall)? The new compact designs weigh 2lbs and I can handle that extra weight, if it makes the job simpler. I wouldn't use for skinning, obviously.

I see reading comprehension isn't your strong suit. Hopefully your job involves using a shovel all day. Read my first sentence. I am not complaining, but just mentioning to the community my opinion of their product. I didn't know it was widespread knowledge the product sucked. Personally, I check this website before I buy products now. I have benefited by several similar posts.

I hate writing this type of post, but thought it would be worth noting to the community. I purchased the swaro adapter when I got my 10x50EL's a few years back. It was the kind that would push up and lock on top of the binos. I used them lightly (only pulling them out when big game hunting), and they fell apart. Poor design. I call to find out how to fix them, and found out there was nothing to be done. They offered me the new adapter model at full price. I am shocked because of the luxury brand swaros currently hold, a total mismatch to the pool quality adapters they produce. But, they do price their adapters and accessories at luxury pricing. I went back and forth with the customer service agent maybe 6-8 times. They ended up offering me a $50 gift cert to The Outdoorsman (because I put in a post and adapter there). I declined, because a luxury brand should do better to stand behind their product. It's not the money that is important, and it makes me wonder about the binos. Maybe they go cheap on those too, going forward. It felt like I was dealing with walmart customer service, not Nordstroms (at a Nordstrom's price). You can't sell something, stop supporting it, and then leave your customer out in the cold by offering a full price option of their newest crap. I don't think I'll ever be able to buy anything from them going forward- disappointed with the entire process- and makes me worry about the future of my 10x50 EL's when I need work on them.

ya- i bought them separately. a little more painful. I come from an industry where your product has to be good, top to bottom. Odd that they are ok with a completely different perception of their product lines.
-
I wasn't looking for warranty, just a way to fix- I didn't mind paying to get it fixed. They charge double the price for the product, shouldn't they support it?? I don't think that is asking too much. Yes, that is exactly what I will do.

I already had the outdoorman installed after back/forth with them. They then came back and offered swaro accessories after I already bought the outdoorsman. I explained this to them before I bought the outdoorsman with no success.

I have the infamous ABS roof from Coleman. I took the plastic off the top and I am going to apply the grizzly grip coat to finalize. I do have 3" of deflection, or drop in the center. The roof appears to be made of plastic and high density foam- nothing else (unless someone knows to the contrary). Is it worth trying to raise the ceiling to fix this, or should I just add more foam on top to smooth this out? Any other advice would be very appreciated. I need to fill in some holes with replacement foam as well. Lots of work, but worth it! I am taking this bull elk hunting this winter.

love the ideas (except the short pier one- ha). I'll be assessing this weekend.

Thanks guys. I have poked around that site some (that is where I got the idea to rip off the old cover), but was curious about a method to raise this roof internally. Lots of creative DYI'ers on this site.
-
I should also add that one idea I read was to strap down the edges and then put a jig in the center and jack up the center from inside. not sure if it'll stay, since it seems to have years of sagging and afraid it is permanent.
