    Warne rings?

I just purchased a couple sets of warne mountain tech rings from sportsmans and had them installed there on picatinny rails to make sure I got the right ring heights. I haven't had any issues with them but told a buddy that they were good rings so he got a pair and brought them over for me to mount his scope, when I put them on his picatinny rail I noticed they had a lot of slop in them (before tightening them down). I went and got my calipers and checked the center bar that sets in the rail and noticed that it was only .160" thick and the slot in the rail is .205" I thought that was odd so I pulled my scopes to check the rings and rail and same thing. He had a pair of vortex precision rings on his other rifle and I checked those and they were .200 which is a perfect fit. I ordered some seekins so hopefully they will be a tighter fit, I only went out twice and shot with the warne rings and never lost my zero but being .60 off just concerns me that they could move possibly shooting a magnum. Just wondering if anybody has ever had an issue with the warne rings and to give other people a heads up on them. They say they are good for weaver style and picatinny rails so I figure that's why they aren't precisise for picatinny.

    Swarovski Booster/Doubler

Haven't used one yet, does the clarity stay the same on 15s when using it? My zoom on my camera phone scope helps some but this could be handy.

    7mm Berger 195 Eol

I haven't researched much about the 28 nosler but from what I just briefly read it's pretty much a 7mm. Same bullet just a little shorter casing with a 5° different shoulder it that it? Are you a gunsmith too lance or do you just reload everyone's bullets I hear and read good things about your reloads.

    7mm Berger 195 Eol

Thanks for the help guys I finally got a hold of Berger, they wouldn't respond to email or email me the loads but gave them to me over the phone. Kind of odd but at least they gave me something to work with now time to go see what all this hype is about!

ISO Phone Skope (iPhone 7 - Swarovski SLC 15x56)

Have you seen the outdoorsman phone scope? I bought one and I love it and the better benefit is when you get a new phone you dont have to keep buying a new 80 phone scope you just peel it off your case and put it on your new phone case.

    7mm Berger 195 Eol

Thanks I have found a lot of off these forms that had some good info. I emailed berger yesterday to see if they had any load data for the 195s or if it was in their new reloading manual should hear something back from them tomorrow I assume.

    7mm Berger 195 Eol

Rcdinaz thanks that's where I ordered 2 boxes from as well I couldn't find them anywhere either but I guess that have them all. Just checked my landing, coal measurement, and I will be good subtracting the .020 they will fit in my magazine. Now for the load data does anybody have the new berger first edition reloading manual? If so do they have the load data for the 7mm rm 195s if so I'll run and buy it. Thanks

    7mm Berger 195 Eol

Yes 7mm rm projectiles are very long (1.648")to be exact, maybe too long for my magazine. It's all gonna depend on how far I can insert them into the brass, most starting gr powders from forms I'm reading are from 62g-68g depending on powders and I would like to stay under 98% cap. Thanks for the info I will email berger and see if what I'm reading on the forums is pretty close to their recommendations.

    Warne rings?

Ya they fit in just fine scope lined up perfect once I torqued them to the 60"lb they never moved but knowing that now I would've spent the extra 50$ and went with badger, seekins, vortex precision, or nightforce, to get a tighter fit. I will still keep them on the rifles and they should still last a lifetime but from here on out I will just spend the extra cash for a little better ones.
